I suspect gold is in the middle of a cup and handle continuation. Though it's technically too early to call, I suspect price action will play something like this. Lines were drawn around ~$1,400. Pull backs are for longs.

Worth mentioning, the signal that tipped me off here was the rounded bottom which suggested a new macro uptrend was imminent. I expected a strong sell off at the previous ATH, but we didn't see much at all.
Agree strongly with your overall picture here. Once we hit 1700, FOMO will set in big time and you'll see 3%+ daily gains in Gold and Silver as we breach 1700.
2500 is a good reasonable end-game target but in actuality, we will go a lot higher than that. Sounds unreasonable but sooner or later people will start to see whats really going on monetary policy wise and geopolitically.
