Ripple (XRP) and Stellar Lumens (XLM) are two superpowers in a new world order. The former has the most resources at its disposal and has done well to set its mark in the crypto community despite much hate and negativity. The latter has garnered support as a ‘decentralized’ alternative of Ripple (XRP) with a smaller coin supply. However, it would be tough to choose between the two. Savvy investors who believe in Ripple (XRP) and Stellar Lumens (XLM) both try to invest in both so as to use one as a hedge against another.
XLM will be the decentralized winner and XRP will be the centralized winner IMHO. HOWEVER, in
the short term look to XLM will come out on top gains wise!

@gjmullen, of course we could have presumed that both will win but then we won't be having this discussion, would we? Before you jump to conclusion and point to somebody's 'programmed brain', maybe assume that they might have an angle. ;)

@fakhan, not a personal attack. And the comment was not directed @. I have the programming in my brain since I grew up in America. I note that many people are concerned about which cryptocurrency will win over another. Bitcoin vs. Ripple, Monero vs. Verge. The real loser is going to be fiat currency which has not solved the double lend, infinite spend, issues. I see a future of less and less competition and more and more freedom from competition. Of course many cryptos have already, and continue to die out. I think xrp and xlm seem to move mostly in parallel because they have similar use cases.

@fakhan, also I think banks are going to try to use crypto to validate and continue the house of cards, debt/derivatives counterfeit bubble. it may be interesting to see how that plays out.

@gjmullen, They will try alright but I don't see them succeeding. Revolutions like these, they change the game completely no matter how much you yell and cry. If you've been around in the 90s, you'd know the propaganda against the internet and here we are now, same game, different players.
