@shivaq, Depends on what timeframe you are trading on. e.g If you are intraday trader, checking trend of 1 week, 1 month, etc does'nt make sense. You would be more interested to check 4 hour, 1 hour, 15 minutes trend. The example pasted above is to define a short term uptrend on Sun Pharma and a continuation pattern, which was in an uptrend for 5 days.
