This is a highly adjustable indicator for the ProfitTrailer Crypto Currency Trading Bot.
It showcases a special version of OBV how it is calculated by ProfitTrailer. Due to the limitations in how ProfitTrailer works this does not reflect the values of a classical OBV.
Important note: Due to differences in price update you won't be able to compare the live values calculated by the Bot and the ones on Tradingview. They will likely differ a lot due to different update cycles. We are trying to improve this in the future but we don't know if it cand be handled any better.

Hello, I see you haven't updated these in quite a while and the new versions of PT have more indicators that aren't listed here. Is it possible you could add them?

I agree with Postiglione's comment. The formula found of the PT wiki site, does not produce the results shown in your indicator. I used a period of 5 and a signal of 5. I used ADA/BTC to double check the PT calculation against your indicator and I cannot get the same result, even if I do swap figures around, just in case there is a print error on the wiki. I go back to the beginning i.e. 30 Nov 2017 and then I use the normal built in OBV indicator to get the OBV for the 19 Jan 2018 when your indicator starts (50 days later) and I then get the signal using the
built in OBV indicator i.e. 14 Jan. I then apply the PT wiki calculation and they are way off. In fact yours is a positive value and the wiki calculation produces a negative value.

Lo estoy usando en el P.T. con length de 3 y signal de 1, pero encuentro que los valores mostrados en Profit Trailer son muy distintos a los mostrados el Tradingview.
Hay alguna forma o seteo recomendado para mejora resta diferencia de valores???

Hello and thanks. I don't get any buy signals when I enter a positive B_buy_value_limit which the bot will buy on.
