This indicator is a trend indicator and is designed for trading on long positions. "High period" is the line of maxima for the entered period. "Lows period" is the line of lows for the entered period. "Number of ascent" is the total number of times the "High period" and "Low period" exceed their previous values. At the moment when the "High period " and "Lows period" begin to rise, the counter is turned on, which counts these increases, at the moment when the value of the counter exceeds the value of "Number of ascents" there is a signal to open a long position. When one of the values ("High period "or" Low period") becomes less than its previous value, the counter is reset and the position is closed.
