This is a continuation of my series on forecasting techniques. The idea behind the Simple Mean method is to somehow extend historical mean to the future. In this case a forecast equals to last value plus average change.
I do not believe if anybody put a comment here. Man, this is so cool. With some adjustment I did four different lookback windows in same script (5,15,45,135), so now I can see easily where the trend goes, expecially 15,30 or 45 min periods. I am using it in crypto market. it is working well with the support and resistance levels. Simple, easy to use, and I can make some strategy as to positions of them. Thank you..
I don't understand how line.new works, and the documentation is patchy. I need to shift the line to left x numbers of bars. If you substract "time-bars" in line.new, it doesn't work. Please help.
