Cryptocurrencies Evolved From 'Anti-Regime Insurgency Assets'

From being seen as a small "anti-establishment rebel asset" more than a decade ago, cryptocurrencies have grown to "become more ubiquitous," said Sarah Pritchard, executive director of the U.K.'s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Pritchard said that while the FCA routinely warns consumers of the risks associated with crypto, the regulator “has always been open to innovation.”
