So this is how a reversal needs to look
Initial high then wait for lower high to give you three pivots for primary downtrend - pivots 0/1/2
When it breaks up out of that fork off the median it will give you pivots 3 and 4
You can then apply your pitch fan to pivots 0,3,4 give you the major downtrend
Pivot 5 usually takes multiple attempts to form and is only valid once it tests the pitchfan to give you a probable second pivot up

Pivot 5 (reversal) confirmed when it tests the pitchfan and then gets above the median from the new three pivot UPTREND Dow is in an uptrend, highly likely it will hit the top of our turquoise fork…
