Hi,

good chance of going further down now this starting dropping, on the daily we are rather sideways and now is not the most active time, but still, I think we might see more move down for now/ the next few days.

Oh nice I get positive rollover for shorting it, so even if it sideways 10 days I make profit.

There is also GBPCAD, same story, any of the 2 or the 2 can be shorted.

Cool so I went back nearly 2 years for EURCAD and there has not been that much sideways for almost 2 years, not even close.
They waited for me.
Pretty sure it is the same for the rest.

Looking at EURUSD the volume is still the same... no idea where that volume comes from, I guess biggest FX players are not traders.


But if market is uncertain I can't make money.

Why is it uncertain on everything?
What else could I look at...

Ok Imma take a wild guess & aim for about 1.51 as a target.
This better not disappoint me!
It is clearly trending and this works all the time even in summer 2017 even in summer 2016 even in summer 2015.
I hope everything does not crumble down because the EU regulations scared traders away.

6k on GBPJPY drunk trade 23k on EURCAD & GBPJPY is eating more than half my profit away? wtf?
Not even close to my SL too...
Oh whatever.

That point when your system got so complicated you need ultimate focus to make sure you don't take a bad trade.

EURUSD probably going to go down...


I am just waiting for my AUS ECN broker to verify me but it has been a week... with EU brokers all of them it was less than 24 hours...
Every one fleeing to AUStralia?

Once I am verified they have low spreads I will trade so many more USD pairs I won't have to look at 4HR minors charts and worry about stuff like this.

Now I don't know how long till it goes down, but it will go down for sure.

Why do I have this feeling it will be a few weeks before I make any progress money wise...?

At least now I got the (very probably) final list of instruments to watch.
One less thing to think about.
Can't wait till I go to autopilot mode and have a "the search is over" attitude.
Right now I am still not sure of plenty of things such as "should I join low TF trends on cross currency pairs?". I will be watching 23 charts pegged to the USD so I don't need to anyway. Also, I don't know if I want to trade end of trends that are visible throught RSI divergence. Entries etc are not as juicy.
I am not even sure about Bitcoin as levels get overcut so my SL will be so far from my entry, not that interesting...

So many questions so much more research and practice.
But while I learn in the next months when - hopefully - the sideways is over and charts start trending on the daily I can finally make big profits again and these will pay for my "learning" losses.

The list I am watching, this should not move now. I will remove all the stocks from my watchlist too, I don't think I will look at stocks often, only if someone postes an idea I like or something:

Welp... Not much opportunities, actually there is nothing.

Maybe in a few days something happens.

I have been missing the few opportunities there were and saying "ok next week" for the past 2 months XD

Just let me get verified in Australia, set up everything on my PC and phone etc.

And I keep better at seeing good setups correctly, and quickly even.

I just keep getting better at it, my system is bullet proof, only a matter of time and not being drunk also helps alot that kind of stuff.

Short term trading is for the patient...

Good thing everything is dead, perfect time to polish a technic and practice and set up habits and such.

K maybe 1 more month of screwing around, then BOOM.

Hopefully by the end of the year I reach my 1rst secret goal.

Closed out this night. At least I did not get much slippage.


Trading sideways... mmyeah I only do this when I am desperate.
I don't know, maybe it is better to just not trade at all as I hate losing.
If I absolutely want to trade then I better make sure I do not miss the few trends.
Plus there also is stocks. Or idk I could get interests somewhere, even 0.5% better than nothing.

This setup even if it is not perfect should have a good winrate, at the very least above 55%.

I can now differentiate before those that are going to be wins and those that will fail.

The ones that end up being wins are the trades I do not take, such as USDCAD:

I can so easilly become a billionaire with a friend.
I pick all sideways trend, I trade half and lose, he trades other half and they are all wins.

I had bad luck last week too.
If this keeps going I am really going to start something like this.

At some point you got to look in the mirror bla bla and just write it down.
I literally wrote down my system and different trade setups (and when to avoid), makes it much simpler and I have less risk of failing, and this is what is written at the end of the file (my trade opportunities are ordered in the way 1 is for the juicy premium setups that I have not had in weeks and I am needy of, 2 is for decent but not great, 3 is for trash setups like EURCAD USDCAD etc):

"Every weekend check daily trends & set magic indicators alerts (1-a & 2), and every day set (and delete) alerts for 1-*.
TBH never use 3- unless I am utterly desperate, but that will never happen if I don't miss anything. Better check stocks & crypto if everything is ghosttown."

I feel much better already!
Mmmm delicious 1-a and 1-b, if only you knew ... :)
I actually feel good just thinking about those.

GG casually found a strategy with stocks.
Too lazy to go with the trend.
Just check convergence of BB and RSI divergence, no hurry, wait a few days later & go in the trade if the price goes past the level just scam FOMO idiots the usual.

I need to add dozens of stocks to my watchlist now, right after removing them :p

Dropped so much after I got stopped.
Perhaps the divergence + being oversold means something.

I can't do this, FX + commodities + crypto + stocks, I got my head like a watermelon.
I think I take it more slowly, and focus more on FX ...

Reminiscing...

The trend on the daily was uncertain, but still, bullish RSI divergence should make me think twice at least before shorting...



GBPJPY I actually identified the start of the trend before it even happened -.-
I could maybe make it work but I do not care... I can just post things like this as a fun game or to feel smart, and only trade them when they are confirmed, because technically, it does not work as well.
It is pretty nice to detect trends early, like a detective game, but for trading I prefer confirmed stuff.

Stopped on this for real :(
