Just having a look at basic impulse and corrective moves.

Identified a LTF OBIM (order block with imbalance) which proceeds a corrective move and preceeds an impulsive move. I'm aiming for the OBIM to kick-off the next impulse move down into the POI I'm looking at for longs (as per other posted idea on my profile - free version prevents me sharing the link).

Let's see what happens if the alert is triggered at 1.20300.

Unfortunately the POI for our entry was never reached. I'm thinking the following:

When imbalances on the LTF are not rebalanced it means there is a strong momentum in the short term. If this trend is in the opposite direction to my HTF bias then it's creating areas that the HTF trade will target.
