World gold prices reached record levels

World gold prices hit record levels as uncertainties surrounding the US presidential election and geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East sent investors looking for safe haven assets. Along with that, the loose monetary policy environment continues to keep gold prices at high levels.

Gold has seen gains of more than 30% this year, surpassing record levels, boosted by expectations the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates further after a 0.5% cut. % points interest rates last month and ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.
