Bearish Island reversal setting up on the daily chart
There's no long analysis needed. If the pattern plays out, the trend has changed. I'm buying put options with expirations just past next earnings report.
In technical analysis, an island reversal is a chart pattern with compact trading activity within a range of prices, separated from the move preceding it. This separation shown on the chart, is said to be caused by an exhaustion gap and the subsequent move in the opposite direction occurs as a result of a breakaway gap.
