So what is your edge against the big boys?

Do you have to have an edge?

Answer: You do need one, which is why there is such a very high risk of loosing. When you win you think you have the magic strategy right?

For all new traders I suggest you learn about yourself first what type of trader are you?

I swing or intraday as I do not have time to be watching all the time to make decisions.

I like real data rather than candles.. I want to see evidence of volume real transactional data v price.

My entry and exit does not matter as long as at key volume moments either on profile or my own composites I am in and out.

Algos do nearly 90%+ of the market. If your 'rules' can be programmed I can tell you they will by big boys so you can never win.

What do you see an algo can't and what the banks can't programme?

Answer: Discretion and Time this is why your stop loss has to be ridiculous and managed if you trade equities.

Why equities? It has the most liquidity and volatility.

Volatility increases probabilities in your favour. I hope my thoughts can help you for 2023!
