Beyond last Friday's inflation data, the market is also keenly anticipating the March Non-Farm Payroll report. A stronger-than-expected US job market, combined with persistent inflation, may delay the Federal Reserve's easing cycle initiation, potentially dampening gold's allure. Conversely, a weaker employment report could reinforce the Fed's policy pivot, propelling gold to new historic highs.
