A take on BTC short-term price action

The chart speaks for itself. Make sure to have your funds in a safe place BEFORE 1st of August, under no circumstances leave them on exchange (unless you dont mind losing them). Unfortunately, I am not able to predict what will happen after the critical first day of August as the situation is highly complex. One thing is for sure, fear and uncertainty will be spooking around in most of us. That would usually result in a sharp sell off, but since transactions are risky then, I really have no idea how this situation will evolve in term of price movements. I would really appreciate any feedback here, let me know what you think. Stay safe guys!

July 21st SegWit2x voting period starts:
- New York Agreement signalling begins
- miner-centered effort to activate SegWit (BIP-148)
- this is however bundled with a following hard fork to 2 Mb blocks
(hence the 2x in the name)
- HF is scheduled somewhere 3 months after August 1st

August 1st UASF kicks in:
- BIP-148 nodes reject non-SegWit blocks
- non-SegWit blocks split off of the UASF chain
- we would have two chains: UASF chain and
legacy chain (the chain we have been using all along)
- many problems can arise: replay attacks, exchanges and
merchants disabling transactions, ...
- this for sure will cause FUD as any transaction after this date
potentially can lead to loss of funds
- have your bitcoin in your own wallet and not on exchange
