An IEEE Fellow since 2013, Dr. Thakur holds more than 300 patents and his expertise includes product development, joint ventures, M&A, process technology, and ecosystem collaboration. Before joining Tata Electronics, he held senior roles at Intel, including President of Intel Foundry Services and Corporate Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Intel Corp. He has also held leadership positions at Applied Materials, SanDisk, Steag Electronic Systems, and Micron Technology.
Dr. Thakur holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, a Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
