Gas flows to Italy from Libya's Mellitah field to fall due to maintenance, Eni says

Gas flows to Italy from Libya's Mellitah complex will be significantly reduced and could gradually drop to zero due to planned maintenance, the Italian energy group Eni ENI said on Friday.

The company did not give a timeframe for the reduction, but has said the maintenance is due to take place between May 14 and May 25.

Mellitah is a joint venture between Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Eni.
