Dip Hunter & Breakout Radar (Multi-Timeframe + Trend Filter)

This indicator is designed for traders who want to buy pullbacks in uptrends or catch breakouts—without the noise. It calculates the exact distance of the current price to a specific High (e.g., 52-Week High, Monthly High) and visually signals whether you are in a "Dip Zone" or a "Breakout Zone."

We moved beyond just the "52-Week High." You can now adapt the indicator to your personal trading style—whether you are a Swing Trader, Position Trader, or Investor.
Key Features
1. ⏱️ Multi-Timeframe Lookback (New!) Not every trader looks at the yearly high. You can now select your preferred reference point:
1 Week / 1 Month: Perfect for short-term momentum and swing setups.
3 Months / 6 Months: Ideal for intermediate trend followers.
52 Weeks (Yearly): The classic standard for long-term investors.
Custom: Define your own lookback period.
2. 🛡️ Integrated Trend Filter (SMA) Don't catch a falling knife. Buying a -30% dip is great in a bull market, but dangerous in a bear market.
Smart Visuals: If the price is below your defined SMA (e.g., SMA 200), the label turns DARK GRAY and warns you ("⚠️ Bearish").
Logic: This helps you filter out bad signals and focus on dips within a healthy uptrend.
3. 📅 Context is King: "Days Since High" A breakout above a high from yesterday is noise. A breakout above a high from 6 months ago is a massive signal.
The label now displays exactly how old the high is (e.g., "vs High 45d ago"). This gives you instant context on the significance of the level.
4. 🔔 Dynamic Alerts Never miss a move. Set alerts for:
Dip Levels: Get notified when price hits -10%, -20%, or -30% (customizable).
Breakout Radar: Get notified when price approaches the High (Pre-Breakout).
How to use
Add to Chart: Works on any asset (Stocks, Crypto, Forex).
Select Period: Choose "52 Weeks" for investing or "1 Month" for active trading.
Watch the Label:
🔵 Blue: Breakout Zone (Price is near High).
🟢 Green: Buy Zone (Price dipped significantly).
⚫ Gray: Caution (Price is below SMA / Downtrend).
Settings:
Lookback Period: Choose between Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, or Custom.
Trend Filter: Enable/Disable the SMA warning and set the length (Default: 200).
Dip Levels: Customize your % percentage levels for the pullback zones.
