BEST USA Bank Holidays HelperHello traders
This is a quick helper displaying the US bank holidays labels 1 day before the actual bank holiday date
Useful to be reminded when it's better to not trade as the big "whales" aren't trading either - and are probably drinking cocktails on their yachts in the Caribbeans island
This is my way of saying that, the days where the USA are off, the derivatives like indices aren't likely to give big opportunities
Of course, big move might happen but statistically, we're better off going to the Caribbeans islands as well (or preparing for the next trading day)
Bonus
The indicator displays in fuschia (never knew how to write that word properly without checking google first...) the 2019 US bank holidays
Best regards and enjoy your cocktails today :)
Dave

Volatility Traders Minds Strategy (VTM Strategy)Volatility Traders Minds Strategy (VTM Strategy)
I found this startegy on internet, with a video explaingin how it works.
Conditions for entry:
1 - Candles must to be above or bellow the 48 MA (Yellow line)
2 - Candles must to break the middle of bollinger bands
3 - Macd must to be above or bellow zero level;
4 - ADX must to be above 25 level
Credits to who developed this startegy (google it).
Thanks to all pinescripters mentined in the code for their snippets.
It could be improved with stop loss based on ATR etc.
I have also a study with alerts.
Please use comment section for any feedback or contact me if you need support.
Kirshenbaum Bands Histogram [ChuckBanger]This is based on Everget's Kirshenbaum Bands
But it is a MACD like oscillator script. And the best thing is, if you familiar with MACD... You can use this in the same way. If your unfamiliar with MACD there is a ton of information if you google it like this for example.
Murreys Math Lines Box OR Ratio PivotsI'm publishing my second script, though nothing extraordinary, I believe there is user group for Murry Math indies and the only "proper one" (According to my usage) I found was of RicardoSantos, here is the link :
He developed that script in 2014 and it is in need of update to Pine V4 and I'm doing the needful as its user.
All the updates from my end are listed below:
1. Updated to Pine V4
2. Automatic octave selection
3. In auto mode one can switch octave
4. This script is color coded with intention of use on dark theme, one can change the colors to use it on white background with simple few clicks as pinelines have been used
Other thing I want to add is that usage of this is not very clear to many users, so I'll do little explaining here;
Lets start with what is Octave? Octave is basically distance between square of two whole numbers, this is hard-fast method to calculate, Murry has made it far more complicated to use practically. In mathematical formula terms it could be something like this for script trading at 11890 (CMP)
Step 1: Square Root of CMP i.e Square Root of 11890 = 109.041 = Rounded to 109
Step 2: You can either take one whole number higher or lower than 109, which is 108 or 110. We will take 108
Step 3: Square of 108 = 11664 and Square of 109 = 11881
Step 4: Octave => Distance between (Lowlevel) 11664 and (Higherlevel) 11881
I've automated it so you don't need to calculate, but there is also manual entry possible if you want to calculate octaves yourself, there are different ways to calculate and some like to just take High and Low's of the day or week or month, whatever you like. When I used it I did it strictly this way, so automation is based on it. This is very subjective matter so don't ask to change the calculation of this, if I started doing that every second person would ask me to modify it to different calculation..and thats...just not possible to do.
This is output for calculation we just did above
This is octave shift option (Which basically shifts to next whole number square in above calculation)
Normal nomenclature on octaves and important color codes
+2/8: Extreme overbought = Blue Color and solid line
+1/8: OverBought
8/8: Hardest line to rise above (overbought) = White Color and solid line
7/8: Fast reverse line (weak)
6/8: Pivot reverse line = Yellow Color and solid line
5/8: Upper trading range
----------------------------------------
4/8: Major reversal line = Green Color and solid line
----------------------------------------
3/8: Lower trading range
2/8: Pivot reverse line = Blue Color and solid line
1/8: Fast reverse line (weak)
0/8: Hardest line to fall below (oversold) = White Color and solid line
-1/8: Oversold
-2/8: Extreme Oversold = Yellow Color and solid line
Other lines that I've not mentioned color codes for are minor and are usually plotted in dotted format.
Resources on complete technique to trade and importance of levels (highly recommended to read carefully before trading), if you don't know how to get this for free don't worry you can just google Murrey math and you will find it somewhere, its just that it would be in little scattered manner.

First time coding - a 5min forex Scalping strategy This is my first attempt at producing a strategy in Pine Script.
I am NOT a professional coder. I'm not even a good coder at that. I've only started Pine Script coding since September 2019. I am teaching myself.
This script is far from finished. I need to tweak a number of things about this script. Namely:
Add a validity window to the 'trigger bar' condition. Ie, I want to shut down the condition when the price closes above EMA21
Change the order entry so they are stop orders, using the stop entry price derived from the signals
Make changes to lot sizing
Add a trailing stop condition
Comments welcome, but do not expect me to reply to any questions or requests. In fact, don't expect any replies from me. I consider myself notoriously bad at replies.
I do welcome any feedback from any seasoned coders out there, as I am still a novice coder, and have so much to learn!
As to anyone who wants to criticise me - constructive and helpful criticism are most welcome, criticism to make yourself feel superior to me - you kind can eat a dk.
For the strategy rules, google the user ForexSignals TV account and look for the video "SIMPLE and PROFITABLE Forex Scalping Strategy".
Share, learn, prosper
Peace to y'all

SuperTrend Strategy This is almost the same strategy that Alex Orekhov (everget) sells to unnoticed newbies... The only thing he added was a tool that analyses the better performance of the indicator, that is the difference from his script, and i dont have it here, what i have is what is freely distributed in many communities... But as i follow him for more than 1 year i saw that theese configs. In more than 95% of the time range betweern 7.2-6.8 with the most common settings the 7-7
So i made a description of each part of the code that i WRITED and is free and i am just using the configs that are public in Alex Orekhov (everget) profile. If it is public the configs he use in his charts and he is not the owner of the code right? Also the code is very easy to find in google in the MQL5 community or in a lot of videos in youtube.
He charges $10 for a 4 day trial (LOL) and $100 for this shit.
Here is a strategy that has a correlation with 95% of the time of the Profitable Strategy that he sells.
Strategy based on the principles of Price ActionIt is considered the percentage of candles with low and high closure for a certain period. Then, a moving average is built from these values. When the moving average of the ratio of tall candles to low candles is greater than the ratio of low candles to high, then long (that is, when the green line crosses the red). And vice versa - a condition for short. It also works on crypto with other settings. Idea for improvement: you can make partial exit by taking, at certain profit levels, the chart will be more stable. Result with a commission of 0.004% You can create an optimizer, and use this strategy on any liquid asset. (Sorry for google translator)
Volume Price Confirmation Indicator by 2tmThis script is based on Buff Pelz Dormeier’s article “Investing with Volume Analysus”
As you knows the Volume is the Only Indicator to prior Candles.
So, Lot's of CMT(Charted Market Technicians) invest the Volume Indicator and the Buff Dormeier's VPCI is very popular.
If you have interest let's prey to God Google then he'll be answered.
Anyway, The Basic Logic is this.
a. VPC=SUM(C*V,PERIOD)/SUM(V,PERIOD)-MA(C,PERIOD)
b. VPR= SUM(C*V,PERIOD)/SUM(V,PERIOD)/MA(C,PERIOD)
c. VM=AVG(V,PERIOD)/AVG(V,PERIOD*K)
d. VPCI=VPC*VPR*VM
Feel free to use my script.

Kal’s MTF ADX Rangoli RollerKaly MTF ADX Rangoli Roller is a method/study for finding trending stocks, indexes and cryptocurrencies using two different data periods (10, 5) of ADX Overlap over different time-frames (10m, 1H, 4H, 1D, 1W, 1M). In the study, I used 5-Period ADX for all mentioned time-frames. You may use 10-Period ADX for lower time-frames especially 10m and 1H.
Sample Image of the pinescript code(at the end of this post) in Tradingview looks as follows:
Note: Kal's MTF ADX Rangoli Roller is the lower Plot. The upper plot is KAL’s ADX Overlap Technical Study with MACD Filter( )

Yellow is ‘Squeeze On’ setting. During the squeeze period, the ADX signals are almost always ineffective. One may wait and watch over during this time. Once the Squeeze is released (i.e. no longer yellow), the trend corresponds to the color of the dots and crosses.
Black is CRSI Overbought condition for that time-frame. It’s best to wait and research for possibility of trend reversal because
1. Profit-booking/trimming happens after CRSI Overbought condition.
2. Large Short-sellers may take huge positions during this time pushing the stock prices up.
White is CRSI Oversold condition for that time-frame. It’s best to wait and research for possibility of trend reversal because
1. Profit-booking/trimming happens after CRSI Oversold conditions.
2. Large buyers may take huge positions during this time pushing the stock prices down.

Distance Weighted Moving AverageAdopted to Pine from systemtradersuccess.com
They wrote that this average is designed to be a robust version of a moving average to reduce the impact of outliers, but I dont see a significant difference comparing it with SMA. So, I published it for the educational purposes.
To learn more about the robust filters and averages google Hampel Filter, Interquartile Range Filter and Recursive Median Filter (or any other filter that is based on quartiles).
Good luck!

With smoothed stochastic the hit rate grows a lot.

Current RSI vs Sector RSI ComparisonIn the example above GOOGL's RSI is being compared against the RSI for XLK, the technology sector fund. The red and green areas make it easy to see if Google is under or overperforming relative to other tech stocks. I've included a normal RSI above it for comparison.
You can compare any stock to a sector, i.e. JP Morgan (JPM) versus the financial sector (XLF), or whatever your heart desires. All major sectors are selectable from a drop-down box and the output can also be visualised as a histogram too, much like a MACD.
IV/HV ratio 1.0 [dime]This script compares the implied volatility to the historic volatility as a ratio.
The plot indicates how high the current implied volatility for the next 30 days is relative to the actual volatility realized over the set period. This is most useful for options traders as it may show when the premiums paid on options are over valued relative to the historic risk.
The default is set to one year (252 bars) however any number of bars can be set for the lookback period for HV.
The default is set to VIX for the IV on SPX or SPY but other CBOE implied volatility indexes may be used. For /CL you have OVX/HV and for /GC you have GVX/HV.
Note that the CBOE data for these indexes may be delayed and updated EOD
and may not be suitable for intraday information. (Future versions of this script may be developed to provide a realtime intraday study. )
