Internal Bar Strength (IBS) Strategy█ STRATEGY DESCRIPTION
The "Internal Bar Strength (IBS) Strategy" is a mean-reversion strategy designed to identify trading opportunities based on the closing price's position within the daily price range. It enters a long position when the IBS indicates oversold conditions and exits when the IBS reaches overbought levels. This strategy was designed to be used on the daily timeframe.
█ WHAT IS INTERNAL BAR STRENGTH (IBS)?
Internal Bar Strength (IBS) measures where the closing price falls within the high-low range of a bar. It is calculated as:
IBS = (Close - Low) / (High - Low)
- **Low IBS (≤ 0.2)**: Indicates the close is near the bar's low, suggesting oversold conditions.
- **High IBS (≥ 0.8)**: Indicates the close is near the bar's high, suggesting overbought conditions.
█ SIGNAL GENERATION
1. LONG ENTRY
A Buy Signal is triggered when:
The IBS value drops below the Lower Threshold (default: 0.2).
The signal occurs within the specified time window (between `Start Time` and `End Time`).
2. EXIT CONDITION
A Sell Signal is generated when the IBS value rises to or above the Upper Threshold (default: 0.8). This prompts the strategy to exit the position.
█ ADDITIONAL SETTINGS
Upper Threshold: The IBS level at which the strategy exits trades. Default is 0.8.
Lower Threshold: The IBS level at which the strategy enters long positions. Default is 0.2.
Start Time and End Time: The time window during which the strategy is allowed to execute trades.
█ PERFORMANCE OVERVIEW
This strategy is designed for ranging markets and performs best when prices frequently revert to the mean.
It is sensitive to extreme IBS values, which help identify potential reversals.
Backtesting results should be analyzed to optimize the Upper/Lower Thresholds for specific instruments and market conditions.

IU 4 Bar UP StrategyIU 4 Bar UP Strategy
The IU 4 Bar UP Strategy is a trend-following strategy designed to identify and execute long trades during strong bullish momentum, combined with confirmation from the SuperTrend indicator. This strategy is suitable for traders aiming to capitalize on sustained upward market movements.
Features :
1. SuperTrend Confirmation: Incorporates the SuperTrend indicator as a dynamic support/resistance line to filter trades in the direction of the trend.
2. 4 Consecutive Bullish Bars: Detects a series of 4 bullish candles as a signal for strong upward momentum, ensuring robust trade setups.
3. Dynamic Alerts: Sends alerts for trade entries and exits to keep traders informed.
4. Visual Enhancements:
- Plots the SuperTrend indicator on the chart.
- Changes the background color while a trade is active for easy visualization.
Inputs :
- SuperTrend ATR Period: The period used to calculate the Average True Range (ATR) for the SuperTrend indicator.
- SuperTrend ATR Factor: The multiplier for the ATR in the SuperTrend calculation.
Entry Conditions :
A long entry is triggered when:
1. The last 4 consecutive candles are bullish (closing prices are higher than opening prices).
2. The current price is above the SuperTrend line.
3. The strategy is not already in a position.
4. The bar is confirmed (not a partially formed bar).
When all these conditions are met, the strategy enters a long position and provides an alert:
"Long Entry triggered"
Exit Conditions :
The strategy exits the long position when:
1. The closing price drops below the SuperTrend line.
2. An alert is generated: "Close the long Trade"
Visualization :
- The SuperTrend line is plotted, dynamically colored:
- Green when the trend is bullish.
- Red when the trend is bearish.
- The background color turns semi-transparent green while a trade is active, indicating a long position.
Do use proper risk management while using this strategy.

Inner Bar trading strategy is where the "inside" bar (or candle to the right) within a pair is smaller and within the high to low range of the prior bar, as this pattern tends to be somewhat predictable; especially in "chop" or sideways trading, it is useful to have in your tool box.
Features include:
Complimentary Indicator you can add as well as this strategy to backtest and tune your settings before live trading
Trailing Stoploss to wring every cent from a trade
Indicator only: Clear Alert labels have been coded in for use with trading bots, 3commas is recommended.
Enable/Disable Shorts in addition to Longs
A further feature is that you can disable Shorts (therefore only Longing) for use with exchanges
that only allow you to Long, such as Binance & Coinbase.
Additionally, this Indicator will close a trade before opening the next, so a single exchange
account (BitMEX for example) is all that is required versus having separate accounts to long or
short on the same chart.
This strategy is intended to use $100 of capital, traded at 2.5% per order with 10x lev on Bitmex.

IBS (Internal Bar Strength) Trading Strategy for SPY and NDQImplementation by AlgoTradeKit
Overview
The IBS Trading Strategy is a daily bars long-only trading system, based on the concept of Internal Bar Strength (IBS). The strategy aims to identify potential reversals by monitoring how the previous bar’s close positions itself within its high-low range. It is suitable for stock and US indices. The default parameters are optimized for SPY/SPX and NDQ/QQQ
Strategy Concept
The Internal Bar Strength (IBS) is calculated using the formula:
IBS = (Previous Close - Previous Low) / (Previous High - Previous Low)
This value always lies between 0 and 1. An IBS value below 0.2 is typically interpreted as an oversold condition, while a value above 0.9 suggests an overbought state.
Trading Rules
- Long Entry :
- Condition 1 : IBS is below the user-defined entry threshold (default is 0.2).
- Condition 2 : The current price is above an N-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) (default period is 252).
- Note : You can disable the EMA condition by setting the EMA period to 0.
- Long Exit
- The position is closed when IBS rises above the user-defined exit threshold (default is 0.9).
Customization Options
- IBS Entry Threshold : Adjust to set the sensitivity for entering a long trade based on oversold conditions.
- IBS Exit Threshold : Customize to define the exit point when the market becomes overbought.
- EMA Period : Set the lookback period for the EMA to align with your trend bias; disable this condition by setting the period to 0.
Risk Management & Trading Considerations
- Designed for daily charts, the strategy captures higher timeframe trends and minimizes noise.
- The entry and exit conditions are straightforward, aiming to avoid over-trading while letting clear signals dictate trade management.
- Always use proper risk management techniques and test the strategy thoroughly on historical data and in a simulated environment before applying it in live markets.
Disclaimer
This strategy is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. Trading involves risk, and past performance is not indicative of future results. Always conduct your own research and consider your risk tolerance before making any trades.
New intraday high with weak barStrategy Logic:
The strategy checks if the current bar’s high is the highest high of the last 10 bar and if internal bar strength is less than 0.15.
Position is closed when close is greater than the previous bar’s high.
When a position is open, the script applies a light green background on the chart to signal that you are in a trade.
Inside Bar Strategy w/ SL"Inside bars are a two -bar pattern. They can indicate either a continuation of the
existing move or a reversal. A continuation occurs when there is no significant
support or resistance level in sight, while a reversal occurs close to a strong sup-
port or resistance level...
...A lot of traders are aware of inside bars but few manage to make money with
them. Why is this so? It goes back to interpreting price action. A lot of traders look
to trade in geometric ways. What I mean is that they search for fancy shapes on a
chart and think that this is what represents true price action.
This is not the case. A shape is just a shape. The formation by itself means
nothing unless underlying order flow backs it up. This is why it’s extremely
important that you look for inside bars when a trend is already in place.
The best place to look for them is in the beginning of trends."
Bearish Bars Uptrend StrategyThe strategy is based on the number of bearish bars or bullish bars of the last 8 bars. Additionally it uses a filter of the moving average of 240 bars.
The idea of the strategy is based on pullbacks in uptrends. The buy signal is given when there are 7 bearish bars of the last 8 bars and the price is above the moving average. The operation is closed when there are 7 bulls of the last 8 bars.
The strategy in the majority of assets has a hit rate of around 60% in daily timefrime. Although since it does not have a stop and the closing signal may not occur even if the asset is going down, there are trades that can be losers with 70% to 80% negative performance. That is why money management is essential to be able to take advantage of the system correctly.
Sunil 2 Bar Breakout StrategyDetailed Explanation of the Sunil 2 Bar Breakout Strategy
Introduction
The Sunil 2 Bar Breakout Strategy is a simple yet effective price-action-based approach designed to identify breakout opportunities in financial markets. This strategy analyzes the movement of the last three candles to detect momentum and initiates trades in the direction of the breakout. It is equipped with a built-in stop-loss mechanism to protect capital, making it suitable for traders looking for a structured and disciplined trading system.
The strategy works well across different timeframes and asset classes, including indices, stocks, forex, and cryptocurrencies. Its versatility makes it ideal for both intraday and swing trading.
Core Concept
The strategy revolves around two primary conditions: breakout identification and risk management.
Breakout Identification:
Long Trade Setup: The strategy identifies bullish breakouts when:
The current candle's closing price is higher than the previous candle's closing price.
The high of the previous candle is greater than the highs of the two candles before it.
Short Trade Setup: The strategy identifies bearish breakouts when:
The current candle's closing price is lower than the previous candle's closing price.
The low of the previous candle is lower than the lows of the two candles before it.
Risk Management:
Stop-Loss: For each trade, a stop-loss is automatically set:
For long trades, the stop-loss is set to the low of the previous candle.
For short trades, the stop-loss is set to the high of the previous candle.
This ensures that losses are minimized if the breakout fails.
Exit Logic:
The trade is closed automatically when the stop-loss is hit.
This approach maintains discipline and prevents emotional trading.
Strategy Workflow
Entry Criteria:
Long Entry: A long trade is triggered when:
The current close is greater than the previous close.
The high of the previous candle exceeds the highs of the two candles before it.
Short Entry: A short trade is triggered when:
The current close is less than the previous close.
The low of the previous candle is below the lows of the two candles before it.
Stop-Loss Placement:
For long trades, the stop-loss is set at the low of the previous candle.
For short trades, the stop-loss is set at the high of the previous candle.
Trade Management:
Trades are exited automatically if the stop-loss level is hit.
The strategy avoids re-entering trades until new breakout conditions are met.
Default Settings
Position Sizing:
The default position size is set to 1% of the account equity. This ensures proper risk management and prevents overexposure to the market.
Stop-Loss:
Stop-loss levels are automatically calculated based on the previous candle’s high or low.
Timeframes:
The strategy is versatile and works across multiple timeframes. However, it is recommended to test it on 15-minute, 1-hour, and daily charts for optimal performance.
Key Features
Automated Trade Execution:
The strategy handles both trade entry and exit automatically based on pre-defined conditions.
Built-In Risk Management:
The automatic stop-loss placement ensures losses are minimized on failed breakouts.
Works Across Markets:
The strategy is compatible with a wide range of instruments, including indices, stocks, forex, and cryptocurrencies.
Clear Signals:
Entry and exit points are straightforward and based on objective conditions, reducing ambiguity.
Versatility:
Can be used for both day trading and swing trading, depending on the chosen timeframe.
Best Practices for Using This Strategy
Backtesting:
Test the strategy on your chosen instrument and timeframe using TradingView's Strategy Tester to evaluate its performance.
Market Conditions:
The strategy performs best in trending markets or during periods of high volatility. Avoid using it in range-bound or choppy markets.
Position Sizing:
Use the default position size (1% of equity) or adjust based on your risk tolerance and account size.
Instrument Selection:
Focus on instruments with good liquidity and volatility, such as indices (e.g., NIFTY, BANKNIFTY), forex pairs, or major cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
Potential Enhancements
To make the strategy even more robust, consider adding the following optional features:
Stop-Loss Multiplier:
Allow users to customize the stop-loss distance as a multiple of the default level (e.g., 1.5x the low or high of the previous candle).
Take-Profit Levels:
Add user-defined take-profit levels, such as a fixed risk-reward ratio (e.g., 1:2).
Time Filter:
Include an option to restrict trading to specific market hours (e.g., avoid low-liquidity times).
Conclusion
The Sunil 2 Bar Breakout Strategy is an excellent tool for traders looking to capitalize on breakout opportunities while maintaining disciplined risk management. Its simplicity, combined with its effectiveness, makes it suitable for traders of all experience levels. By adhering to the clearly defined rules, traders can achieve consistent results while avoiding emotional trading decisions.
This strategy is a reliable addition to any trader’s toolbox and is designed to work seamlessly across different market conditions and instruments.
Double Inside Bar & Trend Strategy - KaspricciDouble Inside Bar & Trend Strategy - Kaspricci
This strategy combines the Double Inside Bar candlestick pattern with a trend filter. Once the second inside bar closes and price is above trend moving average, a buy stop order is placed at high of the candle. If price is below trend moving average, a sell stop order is placed at the low of the candle.

Positive Bars % StrategyBased on the calculations by ZenAndTheArtOfTrading. I added stop loss, take profit and reverse code lines.
The Positive Bars % calculates the number of green (positive) bars, relative to a look back period, defined
by the user. If the percentage is low, it means that there was a bigger number of red candles in the
lookback period. The strategy goes long when the percentage is high and short when it's low.
This logic can be reversed with positive results on different time frames.

Inside Bar Momentum StrategyDescription for the strategy:
It's an inside bar momentum trade, looking for candlestick formations breakout and trading momentum with a short stop and target to 80% of the initial candle.
The entry is on a break of the original candle, stop loss is at 20% of the candle range (from the entry).
In case there's a new inside bar formation, all existing orders and trades are cancelled and new orders are placed for the new levels.

This System was created from the Book "How I Tripled My Money In The
Futures Market" by Ulf Jensen, Page 183. This is reverse type of strategies.
The strategy buys at market, if close price is higher than the previous close
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Slow Oscillator is lower than 50.
The strategy sells at market, if close price is lower than the previous close price
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Fast Oscillator is higher than 50.
Secon strategy
This startegy based on 3-day pattern reversal described in "Are Three-Bar
Patterns Reliable For Stocks" article by Thomas Bulkowski, presented in
January,2000 issue of Stocks&Commodities magazine.
That pattern conforms to the following rules:
- It uses daily prices, not intraday or weekly prices;
- The middle day of the three-day pattern has the lowest low of the three days, with no ties allowed;
- The last day must have a close above the prior day's high, with no ties allowed;
- Each day must have a nonzero trading range.

Reversal Bar Signal TestReversal Bars are simple indicators I draw on modified uni renko bars. These simply indicates the bars that "can be" a sign of a reversal or at least a retrace in trend.
This is a test with a simple strategy to buy and sell on those reversal signals.
Keep in mind, all the strategies I am providing are single tool being tested. My methodology is a combination of all these tools with the concept being that if each tool can give good result in testing, the synergistic combination will be something that you wouldn't find anywhere else.
Please don't contact me about getting access to these strategies. These strategies are being developed for my students only.
Right now, the English version of website and learning material is under development, as soon as they are ready, there will be comments bellow every single one of the tool set related.

IU BBB(Big Body Bar) StrategyDESCRIPTION
The IU BBB (Big Body Bar) Strategy is a price action-based trading strategy that identifies high-momentum candles with significantly larger body sizes compared to the average. It enters trades when a strong bullish or bearish move occurs and manages risk using an ATR-based trailing stop-loss system.
USER INPUTS:
- Big Body Threshold – Defines how many times larger the candle body should be compared to the average body ( default is 4 ).
- ATR Length – The period for the Average True Range (ATR) used in the trailing stop-loss calculation ( default is 14 ).
- ATR Factor – Multiplier for ATR to determine the trailing stop distance ( default is 2 ).
LONG CONDITION:
- The current candle’s body is greater than the average body size multiplied by the Big Body Threshold.
- The closing price is higher than the opening price (bullish candle).
SHORT CONDITION:
- The current candle’s body is greater than the average body size multiplied by the Big Body Threshold.
- The closing price is lower than the opening price (bearish candle).
LONG EXIT:
- ATR-based trailing stop-loss dynamically adjusts, locking in profits as the price moves higher.
SHORT EXIT:
- ATR-based trailing stop-loss dynamically adjusts, securing profits as the price moves lower.
WHY IT IS UNIQUE:
- Unlike traditional momentum strategies, this system adapts to volatility by filtering trades based on relative candle size.
- It incorporates an ATR-based trailing stop-loss, ensuring risk management and profit protection.
- The strategy avoids choppy market conditions by only trading when significant momentum is present.
HOW USERS CAN BENEFIT FROM IT:
- Catch Strong Price Moves – The strategy helps traders enter trades when the market shows decisive momentum.
- Effective Risk Management – The ATR-based trailing stop ensures that winning trades remain profitable.
- Works Across Markets – Can be applied to stocks, forex, crypto, and indices with proper optimization.
- Fully Customizable – Users can adjust sensitivity settings to match their trading style and time frame.

Detects an Ignite Candle followed by a Pullback Candle followed by a Confirmation Candle.
A Box will be drawn around the setup and three arrows will identify I, P, C (Ignite, Pullback, Confirmation) the setup.
The strategy will calculate a Stop Loss below the Low Price of the Ignite candle and a Take Profit at 2 times the Stop Loss giving a Risk to Reward Ratio of 1:2.
Extra conditions are included to reduce false triggers:
- A down trend must be detected using 3 SMA (Long, Medium, Short) that should be aligned from Long to Short one above the other.
- The Ignite Candle's body must be BELOW the Short SMA
An input form is available to adjust some strategy parameters.
Performance Note
----------------------
Trading conditions are very strict, so most of the time, no signals will be detected in the Strategy window.
This strategy should only be one of many strategies used for trade setups.
Hope you enjoy it.
