LBR-Volatility Breakout BarsThe originator of this script is Linda Raschke of LBR Group.
This Pine Script code is the version 5 of LBR Paintbars for TradingView, called "LBR-Bars." It was originally coded for TradingView in version 3 by LazyBear. It is a complex indicator that combines various features such as coloring bars based on different conditions, displaying Keltner channels, and showing volatility lines.
Let me break down the key components and explain how it works:
1. Inputs Section: This section defines various input parameters that users can adjust when adding the indicator to their charts. These parameters allow users to customize the behavior and appearance of the indicator. Here are some of the key input parameters:
- Users can control whether to color bars under different conditions. For example,
they can choose to color LBR bars, color bars above/below Kelts, or color non-LBR
bars.
- Users can choose whether to show volatility lines or shade Keltner channels' area
with the Mid being the moving average on the chart.
- In the calculation of Keltner channels, users can set the length of the moving
average that the Keltner channels use as the mid and then set the Keltner multiplier.
If users want to use "True Range" to determine calculations, they can turn it on or
off; it defaults to off.
- Users can change the calculation of volatility lines and set the length for finding the
lowest and highest prices. The user sets the ATR length and multiplier for the ATR.
2. Calculation Section: This section defines the calculation of the upper and lower standard deviation bands based on the input parameters. It uses Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) and optionally True Range to calculate these bands if turned on. These bands are used in the Keltner channel calculation.
3. Keltner Channel Section: This section calculates the upper, middle, and lower lines of the Keltner channels. It also plots these lines on the chart. The colors and visibility of these lines are controlled by user inputs.
4. Volatility Lines Section: This section calculates the upper and lower volatility lines based on the lowest and highest prices over a specified period and the ATR. It also checks whether the current close price is above or below these lines accordingly. The colors and visibility of these lines are controlled by user inputs.
5. Bar Colors Section: This section determines the color of the bars on the chart based on various conditions. It checks whether the current bar meets conditions like being an LBR bar, being above or below volatility lines, or being in "No Man's Land." The color of the bars is set accordingly based on user inputs.
This Pine Script creates an indicator that provides visual cues on the chart based on Keltner channels, volatility lines, and other customizable conditions. Users can adjust the input parameters to tailor the indicator's behavior and appearance to their trading preferences.

MTF Breakout/RetestIntroducing the MTF (Multi Timeframe) Breakout and Retest Indicator:
This indicator is designed to enhance your trading strategy by providing a clear view of support and resistance levels across multiple timeframes. What this simply means is that you can input your levels, and be on a lower timeframe such as the 1 minute timeframe, and are able to see when your support or resistance level has a breakout
📈 Short Trade Breakout Condition:
- Definition: A short breakout occurs when a candle closes below your specified support level on any chosen timeframe.
- Confirmation: It confirms as a valid short signal when a second candle closes below the support level without retesting.
- Visual Clarity: The indicator highlights the timeframe in which this breakout has occurred.
(Long conditions are same but reversed, and will be displayed in color green)
📊 Multi-Timeframe Insights:
- Scope: You can analyze support and resistance levels across various timeframes, including 5, 15, 30, and 60 minutes, while trading on a lower timeframe like 1 minute.
🎨 Dynamic Color-Coding:
- Visual Signaling: The indicator employs color-coding to visually signal breakout events. When a short breakout occurs on any timeframe the timeframe color will highlight red, and vice versa for long will highlight green. The physical line will change color based on the current timeframe you are viewing
- Real-Time Tracking: Colors reset when a level is retested, helping you track market sentiment in real-time.
🪙 Need Your Help
- I am still very much new to coding, and this code is clearly not optimized well. This code was mainly the based idea, and over the next coming months I will be working to enhance the code but I need tradingview help. If you are a coder and see a way to optimize this code please please let me know :)

ATR Extension [QuantVue]The Moving Average ATR Extension Indicator offers a powerful blend of two key market elements: the Average True Range (ATR) and Moving Averages (MA), capturing the dynamics of market momentum and trend direction.
This indicator is used to measure market extension from a user-selected moving average based on multiples of the Average True Range (ATR). By doing this, it becomes remarkably straightforward to spot strength at breakout points or exhaustion near the end of a run.
As a market breaks out the extension indicates a surge in buying pressure, while an extension after a sizeable move can often be an indication of market exhaustion. This extended position essentially reflects over-enthusiastic buying and could be an early warning sign of a potential trend reversal.

Relative Daily Change% by SUMIT
"Relative Daily Change%" Indicator (RDC)
The "Relative Daily Change%" indicator compares a stock's average daily price change percentage over the last 200 days with a chosen index.
It plots a colored curve. If the stock's change% is higher than the index, the curve is green, indicating it's doing better. Red means the stock is under-performing.
This indicator is designed to compare the performance of a stock with specific index (as selected) for last 200 candles.
I use this during a breakout to see whether the stock is performing well with comparison to it`s index. As I marked in the chart there was a range zone (red box), we got a breakout with good volume and it is also sustaining above 50 and 200 EMA, the RDC color is also in green so as per my indicator it is performing well. This is how I do fine-tuning of my analysis for a breakout strategy.
You can select Index from the list available in input
**Line Color Green = Avg Change% per day of the stock is more than the Selected Index
**Line Color White = Avg Change% per day of the stock is less than the Selected Index
If you want details of stocks for all index you can ask for it.
Disclaimer : **This is for educational purpose only. It is not any kind of trade recommendation/tips.
IC breakoutThis indicator was implemented to detect indecision candles on a daily and 4-hour timeframe.
The settings of the indicator allow you to specify the maximum size (in percentage ) of the indecision candle, as well as the maximum price range (also in percentage ) between the low and the high of that indecision candle.
Moreover, as the title might indicate, the goal was not to only detect the indecision candles, but to get alerts (and information on the graph) when the high or low of an indecision candle is broken on the next block.
The alerts allow both merged and separate alerts.
The alert "1. IC breakout high/low" will be triggered for both a breakout under the previous low or above the previous high
The alert "2. IC breakout low" will be triggered only for a breakout under the previous low
The alert "3. IC breakout high" will be triggered only for breakout above the previous high

GDP BreakdownProvides an easy way for viewing the sub sections that make up a country's total GDP. Not all countries provide data for each subsector (Agriculture, Construction, Manufacturing, Mining, Public Administration, Services, Utilities). Only countries that provide complete data are able to be selected in the settings. If I've missed any please let me know in the comment section so they can be added. This is much easier than having to individually selecting each ticker for each country when looking to compare how diversified an economy is.
Chews Opening Range Breakout - FibonacciVisual tool for taking a Fibonacci retracement-backed opening range breakout.
How it works:
Short a first red candle. Long a first green candle.
You decide which Fibonacci % you prefer your stop loss to be, the plot and label will represent your decision.
Fibonacci logic is close --> open.
Recommendations:
Use a lower time frame interval like 3m.
Extra Notes:
On higher priced stocks, you may see some discrepancy (~$0.1!) when plotting a Fibonacci Retracement compared to the suggested stop loss.
Since this discrepancy happens on inherently more volatile stocks, I have chosen to neglect the discrepancy instead of going for point perfect stop loss exits.
Realistically, it won't matter unless you get very unlucky.
Fibonacci drawing is not a feature of what this indicator plots. It's there for reference, but I can add if requested.
I drafted this simple code to help me visualize automating this strategy.
"That's spoicy!"
ToDo: Add an optional two-sided ORB. Higher chance of success since it is meant for reversals.
Ichimoku Breakout Kumo SWING TRADER (By Insert Cheese)A simple strategy for long spot or long futures (swing traders) based on a basic method of Ichimoku Kinko Hyo strategies.
The strategy is simple:
- Buy when the price breaks the cloud
- Close the trade when the price closes again inside the cloud.
The parameters that work best on this strategy are 10,30,60,30 and 1 for Senkou-Span A
but you can try classic Ichimoku parameters (9,26,52,26,26) or whatever you want like (7,22,44,22,22), (10,30,60,30,30) and others.
-1D chart
I have removed everything from the interface except the cloud to make it visually more aesthetic :D (but if you want to see all the ichimoku indicator you can put in again into the chart)
I have also added several functions for you to do your own backtesting:
- Date range
- TP AND SL method
- Includes long or short trades
The strategy starts with 500 $ and use 100% for trade to make the power of the compounding :P
Remember that this is for only educational porpouse and you must to do your own research and backtested on your usually market..
I hope you like it enjoy and support this indicator :)

StockBee 4% BreakoutThe Stockbee 4% Breakout script is a study tool for users who wants to do a deep dive on StockBee's 4% Breakout momentum burst method. This script will assist a specific group of traders who trade this method easily find historical momentum bursts. This script finds and colors red any candle body that meets the following criteria:
1. Volume of the candle is greater than the previous candle volume.
2. The percent change of candle's price is greater than 4% from the previous candle close.
3. Current candle close is less than 30% from candle's high.
This script also filters out any candle that gaps up and breaks down with a close above 4% the previous candle (Eliminates gap-ups that fade). This tool is meant to find and filter possible candidates. Not every marked candle is a great momentum burst trade.
This is very helpful for Trading View users trading this specific setup.
Fibonacci Progression with Breaks [LuxAlgo]This indicator highlights points where price significantly deviates from a central level. This deviation distance is determined by a user-set value or using a multiple of a period 200 Atr and is multiplied by successive values of the Fibonacci sequence.
Settings
Method: Distance method, options include "Manual" or "Atr"
Size: Distance in points if the selected method is "Manual" or Atr multiplier if the selected method is "Atr"
Sequence Length: Determines the maximum number of significant deviations allowed.
Usage
The indicator allows highlighting potential reversal points, but it can also determine trends using the central level, with an uptrend detected if the central level is higher than its previous value and vice versa for a downtrend.
When an uptrend is detected, and the price deviates significantly upward from it a first checkmark will be highlighted alongside the Fibonacci sequence used as a multiplier, if the price deviates downward, a cross will be shown instead, then the distance threshold will be multiplied by the next value in the Fibonacci sequence.
If the price deviates from the central level such that the length of the sequence is greater than the user set Sequence Length , a break label will be shown alongside a new central level with a value determined by the current closing price, while the Fibonacci multiplier will be reset to 1.
Upper and lower extremities made from the central level and threshold distance are highlighted and can be used as support and resistances.
SFP MomentumCustom swing fail detector with levels and breakouts both major and minor plus colored candles based on SFP momentum.
// Tradeaverse \ False Breakout Zones Indicator Similar to the false breakout indicator this spots false break outs using 2 stochastic rsi's. This one is a chart overlay showing you the exact candles the false break out happens on.
MACD Objective Breakouts + AlertsFinds the most recent support and resistance level as confirmed by the MACD . These level are detected dynamically and the lines will be updated as new levels form.
Alerts can be toggled on or off in the settings but will not work if the alert is not added to your chart. Alerts can be added by selecting the "Alert" button on TradingView then selecting "MOB Alerts" as the condition
Alerts will trigger when price closes above or below the indicated levels.
Please let me know if you find any bugs!

Bulu BreakoutI designed this indicator to trade 52 weeks high breakout. It tests three conditions 1)close above 52weeks high 2)close above upper Bollinger band 3) adx <30. any candle that satisfies all these condition will change its color to black. i also added 44sma to this script to find high probable trade. if the black candle is near 44 sma it is more reliable.
Recent High/Low Dots by Alejandro PSimple indicator that plots a dot in the chart when a candle breaks the high of the past X candles.
This is useful to easily visualize when the market is coming out of a range and making fresh highs or lows relative to the past X candles.
It can be used in trend following systems as an additional filter for validation.
[KL] Double Bollinger Bands Strategy (for Crypto/FOREX)This strategy uses a setup consisting of two Bollinger Bands based on the 20 period 20-SMA +/-
(a) upper/lower bands of two standard deviations apart, and
(b) upper/lower bands of one standard deviation apart.
We consider price at +/- one standard deviation apart from 20-SMA as the "Neutral Zone".
If price closes above Neutral Zone after a period of consolidation, then it's an opportunity for entry. Strategy will long, anticipating for breakout.
The illustration below shows price closing above the Neutral Zone after a period of consolidation.
