AlphaTrend - ScreenerScreener version of AlphaTrend indicator: BUY / LONG when AlphaTrend line crosses above its 2 bars offsetted line, and there would be a green filling between them SELL / SHORT when AlphaTrend line crosses below its 2 bars offsetted line, and filling would be red then. Default values: Coefficient: 1, which is the factor of the trailing ATR value Common Period: 14, which is the length of ATR MFI and RSI AlphaTrend default uses MFI in the calculation, and MFI (Money Flow Index) needs the volume data of the chart. If your chart doesn't have the volume data, please select the "Change Calculation" option to use RSI instead of MFI. Screener Panel: You can explore 20 different and user-defined tickers, which can be changed from the SETTINGS (shares, crypto, commodities...) on this screener version. The screener panel shows up right after the bars on the right side of the chart. Tickers seen in green are the ones that are in an uptrend, according to AlphaTrend. The ones that appear in red are those in the SELL signal, in a downtrend. The numbers in front of each Ticker indicate how many bars passed after the last BUY or SELL signal of AlphaTrend. For example, according to the indicator, when BTCUSDT appears in (3) and in GREEN, Bitcoin switched to BUY signal 3 bars ago.

Fetch ATR + MA StrategyA trend following indicator that allows traders/investors to enter trades for the long term, as it is mainly tested on the daily chart. The indicator fires off buy and sell signals. The sell signals can be turned off as trader can decide to use this indicator for long term buy signals. The buy signals are indicated by the green diamonds, and the red diamonds show the points on then chart where the asset can be sold. The indicator uses a couple indicators in order to generate the buy signals: - ADX - ATR - Moving Average of ATR - 50 SMA - 200 SMA The buy signal is generated at the cross overs of the 50 and 200 SMA's while the ATR is lower than then Moving Average of the ATR. The buy signal is fired when these conditions are met and if the ADX is lower than 30. The thought process is as follows: When the ATR is lower than its moving average, the price should be in a low volatilty environment. An ADX between 25 and 50 signals a Strong trend. Every value below 25 is an absent or weak trend. So entering a trade when the volatilty is still low but increasing, you'll be entering a trade at the start of a new uptrend. This mechanism also filters out lots of false signals of the simple cross overs. The sell signals are fired every time the 50 SMA drops below the 200 SMA.

Lorentzian Classification Strategy Based in the model of Machine learning: Lorentzian Classification by @jdehorty, you will be able to get into trending moves and get interesting entries in the market with this strategy. I also put some new features for better backtesting results! Backtesting context: 2022-07-19 to 2023-04-14 of US500 1H by PEPPERSTONE. Commissions: 0.03% for each entry, 0.03% for each exit. Risk per trade: 2.5% of the total account For this strategy, 3 indicators are used: Machine learning: Lorentzian Classification by @jdehorty One Ema of 200 periods for identifying the trend Supertrend indicator as a filter for some exits Atr stop loss from Gatherio Trade conditions: For longs: Close price is above 200 Ema Lorentzian Classification indicates a buying signal This gives us our long signal. Stop loss will be determined by atr stop loss (white point), break even(blue point) by a risk/reward ratio of 1:1 and take profit of 3:1 where half position will be closed. This will be showed as buy. The other half will be closed when the model indicates a selling signal or Supertrend indicator gives a bearish signal. This will be showed as cl buy. For shorts: Close price is under 200 Ema Lorentzian Classification indicates a selling signal This gives us our short signal. Stop loss will be determined by atr stop loss (white point), break even(blue point) by a risk/reward ratio of 1:1 and take profit of 3:1 where half position will be closed. Risk management To calculate the amount of the position you will use just a small percent of your initial capital for the strategy and you will use the atr stop loss or last swing for this. Example: You have 1000 usd and you just want to risk 2,5% of your account, there is a buy signal at price of 4,000 usd. The stop loss price from atr stop loss or last swing is 3,900. You calculate the distance in percent between 4,000 and 3,900. In this case, that distance would be of 2.50%. Then, you calculate your position by this way: (initial or current capital * risk per trade of your account) / (stop loss distance). Using these values on the formula: (1000*2,5%)/(2,5%) = 1000usd. It means, you have to use 1000 usd for risking 2.5% of your account. We will use this risk management for applying compound interest. > In settings, with position amount calculator, you can enter the amount in usd of your account and the amount in percentage for risking per trade of the account. You will see this value in green color in the upper left corner that shows the amount in usd to use for risking the specific percentage of your account. > You can also choose a fixed amount, so you will have to activate fixed amount in risk management for trades and set the fixed amount for backtesting. Script functions Inside of settings, you will find some utilities for display atr stop loss, break evens, positions, signals, indicators, a table of some stats from backtesting, etc. You will find the settings for risk management at the end of the script if you want to change something or trying new values for other assets for backtesting. If you want to change the initial capital for backtest the strategy, go to properties, and also enter the commisions of your exchange and slippage for more realistic results. In risk managment you can find an option called "Use leverage ?", activate this if you want to backtest using leverage, which means that in case of not having enough money for risking the % determined by you of your account using your initial capital, you will use leverage for using the enough amount for risking that % of your acount in a buy position. Otherwise, the amount will be limited by your initial/current capital I also added a function for backtesting if you had added or withdrawn money frequently: Adding money: You can choose how often you want to add money (Monthly, yearly, daily or weekly). Then a fixed amount of money and activate or deactivate this function Withdraw money: You can choose if you want to withdraw a fixed amount or a percentage of earnings. Then you can choose a fixed amount of money, the period of time and activate or deactivate this function. Also, the percentage of earnings if you choosed this option. Momentum Covariance Oscillator by TenozenWell, guess what? A new indicator is here! Again it's a coincidence, as I experiment with my formula. So far it's less noisy than Autoregressive Covariance Oscillator, so possibly this one is better. Funny thing is that it's so simple, but it's good! What matters is the use of it haha. So how to use this Oscillator? Strategy for UT Bot Alerts indicator Using the UT Bot alerts indicator by @QuantNomad, this strategy was designed for showing an example of how this indicator could be used, also, it has the goal to help some people from a group that use to use this indicator for their trading. Under any circumstance I recommend to use it without testing it before in real time. Backtesting context: 2020-02-05 to 2023-02-25 of BTCUSD 4H by Tvc. Commissions: 0.03% for each entry, 0.03% for each exit. Risk per trade: 2.5% of the total account For this strategy, 3 indicators are used: UT Bot Alerts indicator by Quantnomad One Ema of 200 periods for indicate the trend Atr stop loss from Gatherio Trade conditions: For longs: Close price is higher than Atr from UT Bot Ema from UT Bot cross over Atr from UT Bot. This gives us our long signal. Stop loss will be determined by atr stop loss (white point), break even(blue point) by a risk/reward ratio of 0.75:1 and take profit of 3:1 where half position will be closed. This will be showed as buy (open long position) The other half will be closed when close price is lower than Atr and Ema from UT Bot cross under Atr. This will be showed as cl buy (close long position) For shorts: Close price is lower than Atr from UT Bot Ema from UT Bot cross over Atr from UT Bot. This gives us our short signal. You calculate the distance in percent between 20,000 and 19,000. In this case, that distance would be of 5,0%. Then, you calculate your position by this way: (initial or current capital * risk per trade of your account) / (stop loss distance). Using these values on the formula: (1000*2,5%)/(5,0%) = 500usd. It means, you have to use 500 usd for risking 2.5% of your account. We will use this risk management for apply compound interest. In settings, with position amount calculator, you can enter the amount in usd of your account and the amount in percentage for risking per trade of the account. Investments/swing trading strategy for different assetsStop worrying about catching the lowest price, it's almost impossible!: with this trend-following strategy and protection from bearish phases, you will know how to enter the market properly to obtain benefits in the long term. Backtesting context: 1899-11-01 to 2023-02-16 of SPX by Tvc. Commissions: 0.05% for each entry, 0.05% for each exit. Risk per trade: 2.5% of the total account For this strategy, 5 indicators are used: One Ema of 200 periods Atr Stop loss indicator from Gatherio Squeeze momentum indicator from LazyBear Moving average convergence/divergence or Macd Relative strength index or Rsi Trade conditions: There are three type of entries, one of them depends if we want to trade against a bearish trend or not. ---If we keep Against trend option deactivated, the rules for two type of entries are:--- First type of entry: With the next rules, we will be able to entry in a pull back situation: Squeeze momentum is under 0 line (red) Close is above 200 Ema and close is higher than the past close Histogram from macd is under 0 line and is higher than the past one Once these rules are met, we enter into a buy position. Stop loss will be determined by atr stop loss (white point) and break even(blue point) by a risk/reward ratio of 1:1. For closing this position: Squeeze momentum crosses over 0 and, until squeeze momentum crosses under 0, we close the position. Otherwise, we would have closed the position due to break even or stop loss. Rocket Grid Algorithm - The Quant ScienceThe Rocket Grid Algorithm is a trading strategy that enables traders to engage in both long and short selling strategies. Fibonacci Step IndicatorThe Fibonacci Step Indicator assumes irregularity in calculating a moving average. It is measured as the mean of the previous lows and highs situated at Fibonacci past periods. For example, the mean of the lows from 2, 3, 5, 8, etc. periods ago form the Fibonacci step indicator. The indicator uses the formula for the first twelve Fibonacci numbers on highs and lows so that it creates a moving support/resistance zone. Afterwards, the zone is stabilized by taking the highest highs of the upper indicator and the lowest lows of the lower indicator part. The indicator is used as a trend following way. It can be compared to the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo cloud (without the future projection). The zone form a support and resistance area. During ranging periods, the market will fluctuate within the area which is a bad time to follow the trend (if any).

Trend Following based on Trend ConfidenceThis is a Trend Following strategy based on the Trend Confidence indicator. The goal of this strategy is to be a simple Trend Following strategy, but also to be as precise as possible when it comes to the question 'how confident are we that a linear trend is ongoing?'. For this we calculate the 'confidence' of a linear trend in the past number of closing prices. The idea of this strategy is that past a certain confidence, the ongoing linear trend is more likely to continue than not. Trend Confidence: The Trend Confidence shows us how strong of a linear trend the price has made in the past number (given by Length parameter) of closing prices. The steepness of the price change makes the Trend Confidence more extreme (more positive for an uptrend or more negative for a downtrend), and the deviation from a straight line makes the Trend Confidence less extreme (brings the confidence closer to 0). This way we can filter out signals by wild/sudden price moves that don't follow a clear linear trend. Math behind the Trend Confidence: A linear fit is made on the past number of closing prices, using Ordinary Linear Regression. We have the steepness of the linear fit: b in y=a+bx . And we have the standard deviation of the distances from the closing prices to the linear fit: sd . The Trend Confidence is the ratio b/sd . Entries and Exits: For entry and exit points we look at how extreme the Trend Confidence is. The strategy is based on the assumption that past a certain confidence level, the ongoing linear trend is more likely to continue than not. So when the Trend Confidence passes above the 'Long entry" threshold, we go Long. After that when the Trend Confidence passes under the 'Long exit' threshold, we exit. The Long entry should be a positive value so that we go Long once a linear uptrend with enough confidence has been detected. When the Trend Confidence passes below the 'Short entry' threshold, we go Short. After that when the Trend Confidence passes above the 'Short exit' threshold, we exit. The Short entry should be a negative value so that we go Short once a linear downtrend with enough confidence has been detected. Default Parameters: The strategy is intended for BTC-USD market, 4 hour timeframe. The strategy also works on ETH-USD with similar parameters. The Length is arbitrarily set at 30, this means we look at the past 30 closing prices to determine a linear trend. Note that changing the length will change the range of Trend Confidence values encountered. The default entry and exit thresholds for Longs and Shorts do not mirror each other. This is because the BTC-USD market goes up more heavily and more often than it goes down. So the ideal parameters for Longs and Shorts are not the same. The positive results of the strategy remain when the parameters are slightly changed (robustness check). The strategy uses 100% equity per trade, but has a 10% stop loss so that a maximum of 10% is risked per trade. Commission is set at 0.1% as is the highest commission for most crypto exchanges. Trend SuggestionsThis brings together a number of variables to produce trend predictions that could be utilized as decision-making tools. Uses the aforementioned price and volume derivatives - A moving average and three weighted moving averages (WMA1, WMA2, WMA3) - Super Trend Line (ST) - Opening Range Breakout on Five Minutes, Resistance Bands Pocket pivots, support, and price volume he Direction is determined by the High and Low Bands of WMAs and the Supertrend Line, which are used to determine the Upper and Lower Lines around the Price. When the price passes below the lower boundary of the band, a downtrend is said to have begun. Similarly, for an uptrend, this continues until the price passes over the upper edge of the band. Teal for an uptrend and fuchsia for a downturn area shared by the band to identify the trend. The first five minutes of the breakout lines have a tiny buffer augmentation of 11% applied to them. MACD strategy + Trailstop indicatorWelcome traveler ! Here is my first indicator I made after 3 days of hardlearning pine code (beginner in coding). I hope it will please you, if you have any suggestion to enhance this indicator, do not hesitate to give me your thoughts in the comments section or by Private message on trading View ! How does it works ? It's a simple MACD strategy as describe here : Uses of EMA 200 as a trend confirmer, For sells : When above Zero line (MACD) and under EMA200, we go on sell (background color is red) For buys: When under Zero line (MACD) and above EMA 200, we go on Buy (back ground color is green) FILTERS ! I haded one filter to reduce noise on the indicator : Signals aren't taken if one of the 14 last candles closed on the other side of the EMA 14. What are the green and red lines ? The green line is equivalent of a potential stop loss as a buyer side, same for the red one on seller side ! To make the space with the price bigger, please use "ATR multiplier" in the input options of the indicator while on your chart ! Is it timeframe specific ? Hell no it is not timeframe specific ! You can try to use it on every timeframe ! As usual, I like to remind you that the best way to test an indicator is to go backtest it or to paper trade before using it on real market conditions ! If you find an idea of filter for a specific timeframe, do not hesitate to contact me ! I'll try to do my best to enhance this indicator as the time goes ! Is there repainting ? There is no repainting on confirmation ! There's only a movement that I don't know how to ignore on the current open candle for the trail stop indicator I built, it should not be a problem if you place alerts to automatise your trading on the close of the candle, and not the high or low ! ATR Trend FollowingThe script filters stocks on the basis of ATR. If the stock has moved above 7 times the ATR from the lows, the system generates buy signal and continues till the stock drops by 2 ATR. It is a good system in trending markets however in sideways consolidating markets, the system must be avoided. In trending markets it can generate good returns with significant Risk to Reward Ratio. Use it in confirmation with other trend depicting indicators is expected to generate better results.

Atr which stands in the heart of supertrend is calculated based on heikin-ashi bars which omits a great deal of noises. with 6 multiplication of the supertrend, its simply much easier to spot trend direction or use it as trailing stop with several levels available. this is a great tool to assess and manage your risk and calculate your position volume if you use the heikin ashi supertrend as your stoploss.
