Developers are the backbone of any blockchain ecosystem. In 2025, we’re making it easier than ever to build on Reef:
Streamlined Onboarding: Developing a new onboarding program that simplifies inquiries about financial and technical support.
AI Developer Support: Building an AI-powered agent to provide instant answers to basic developer questions.
Improved Documentation: Revamping Reef’s developer documentation with clearer examples and easier-to-implement solutions.
Global Testnet: Launching a more robust testnet distributed across multiple data centers and continents.
Marketing and Growth
To bring Reef to the forefront of the blockchain world, and also to spread our fins outside of it, we’re doubling down on marketing efforts:
Exploring sports sponsorships, particularly in football and beach sports, that will also incorporate on-chain campaigns and drive engagement.
Starting with Web3 Global Amsterdam in March, we are sponsoring, speaking at, and attending multiple industry events to build awareness and foster partnerships.
Taking advantage of recently discovered, self-service avenues for high visibility marketing. These will be used to accentuate other activities and promote more awareness.
More community calls and AMAs to ensure we’re in touch with our community’s priorities and thoughts.

It represents a focused, measured and practical approach to building an ecosystem with sustainable expansion that delivers value to its community, attracts new users, and provides developers with the tools they need to succeed. The year 2025 marks an exciting period of growth and development for Reef. Our roadmap builds on the solid foundation laid in 2024 and focuses on practical, achievable milestones that will take the Reef ecosystem to the next level. With a steady approach and the support of our incredible community, we're set to deliver meaningful advancements in decentralized finance (DeFi), developer support, user experience, and ecosystem expansion.
Completing the 2024 Roadmap
Before setting our sights fully on 2025, we’re committed to completing the ambitious goals outlined in the 2024 roadmap by the end of Q1. This includes:
Launching Orcanize, the first DAO tooling on Reef, to empower decentralized governance and coordination.
Introducing powerful new features to Sqwid, our NFT marketplace, like better bulk creation.
Launching a secure and efficient cross-chain bridge with VIA Labs, which is being tested on mainnet as of this writing.
By delivering these foundational elements, Reef will go through the rest of 2025 in a position of strength, ready to tackle new challenges and opportunities.
New dApps and Protocols
In 2025, we’re focused on bringing new decentralized applications and protocols to the Reef ecosystem that cater to practical, everyday needs and provide new opportunities for growth. Planned initiatives include:
Lending Platform: Attracting an existing decentralized lending platform to unlock liquidity and offer users more DeFi options.
Native Stablecoin Platform: Supporting the team that’s building a platform for minting and managing a Reef-native stablecoin to stabilize and simplify transactions.
MetaMask Snap Plugin: Introducing a MetaMask Snap plugin to integrate Reef seamlessly into the world’s most popular crypto wallet.
Fiat Onramp Provider: Enabling easy onboarding for new users by partnering with a fiat onramp provider with coverage in a majority of geographies.
Hydrastarter: Launching our very own launchpad, Hydrastarter, to support promising projects built on Reef Chain.
Partnerships with New Launchpads: Attracting a second launchpad to incorporate Reef Chain support, expanding opportunities for new projects.
Liquid Staking Provider: Securing a partnership with a liquid staking provider to offer flexible staking options for users.
Utility-Focused Apps: Bringing everyday utility apps to Reef, such as a blockchain-powered VPN. While we are developing our own list, we want to hear the community’s ideas for which projects we should target.
Hardware Wallet Integration: Securing at least one hardware wallet integration for enhanced wallet and transaction security.
Shopify Integration: Launching a Shopify app to enable REEF payments in stores built on Reef Chain. This app could also accept other tokens, at the store’s discretion.
CEX Listings
To expand the reach and accessibility of REEF, we are prioritizing both new and existing centralized exchange listings:
Existing Listings: Continuing efforts from 2024 to contact all 25+ existing CEXs where REEF is available for spot trading, encouraging them to transition from REEF-ETH and REEF-BSC to REEF on Reef Chain. The reception has been largely positive so far.
New Listings: Targeting at least three new centralized exchanges (CEXs) to achieve wider geographical coverage, especially making sure we have coverage in North America.
Enhancing Existing dApps and Protocols
We’re improving the usability and functionality of existing Reef dApps and protocols to create a seamless and engaging experience for our users:
Adding full WalletConnect support across all applications.
Enabling MetaMask Snap support for all existing dApps.
Expanding Reef Chain Wallet’s compatibility to iOS, macOS, and iPadOS.
Overhauling the Reef Chain Wallet user experience to make it more intuitive and user-friendly, adding in features like support for Mr.Dapps’ Reef Name Service.

С ПОМОЩЬЮ сетевой интеграции👌
•VIA Labs успешно развернула и настроила контракты межсетевого шлюза и код валидатора в Reef Chain.
•Они могут успешно отправлять межсетевые сообщения из Reef во все цепочки EVM в сети VIA и обратно в Reef Chain!
•Далее последуют заключительные шаги по обновлению кода валидатора для корректного получения сообщения от Reef -> Ethereum.
Token Bridge👇
•Команда разработчиков интерфейса VIA Labs начала работу над пользовательским интерфейсом Token Bridge и добилась значительного прогресса.
•Тестовая сеть для развертывания моста с работающими кнопками для тестирования пользователями будет готова в ближайшее время.
•VIA Labs понадобится наше сотрудничество для завершения развертывания основной сети для моста токенов. Контракт в основной сети Reef Chain будет заполнен REEF для покрытия REEF, переведённых из Ethereum и BNB Smart Chain, что позволит мосту функционировать в режиме burn ➔ release.
•В Ethereum и BNB Smart Chain планируется привязать токены REEF к смарт-контракту и дать Reef команду burn() 🔥 для их сжигания по готовности. Также будет команда retrieve(), которую мы не собираемся использовать, если только кто-то, известный команде и сообществу, случайно не отправит большую сумму REEF в контракт вместо того, чтобы использовать мост по назначению.
Proto-CCTP✅
