I hope this week will be the big week for AUDUSD after a consolidation period of almost a month. I noted the important events to watch as:
Tuesday - RBA monetary policy decision
Wednesday - Australian GDP data release
Thursday - ECB monetary policy decision
Friday - Speech of RBA Philip Lowe
At this moment the trend is upwards for AUDUSD with little signs of reversal, however I expect the parity to retrace back to 77.50 level in the coming weeks. Even if I am wrong in my assumption, it is still obvious that the consolidation period is to end this week, either way a rally to follow in my opinion.
Actually in September, I am expecting a bullish month for USD against not only Aussie, but all other currencies. Looking for best places to bid for USD.
