The end of Bitcoin

Короткая
CRYPTOCAP:BTC.D   Market Cap BTC Dominance, %
Consider this, how likely is it that Bitcoin will keep the number 1 marketcap of all cryptos? Perhaps you might think it unthinkable that bitcoin could lose it's throne however I feel that Bitcoin has to much competition and provides nothing unique. Many hold bitcoin because it is number one and they think of it as a 'sure thing' however what if a certain crypto overtakes papa bitcoin in marketcap simply due to it having a more important use case other than a mere 'store of value'.

Gold I feel is going to beat Bitcoin out simply because bitcoin doesn't work as intended in the white paper, it needs a 'second layer' solution in order to possibly work efficiently at scale as a means of payment. This makes it no better than gold in terms of versatility if you need to rely on a third party to use/spend your bitcoins. You may as well buy a real commodity like gold or silver for the role of a store of value.

However Bitcoin still has value as of now and most likely for another 1 or two bull runs. However I feel the moment a crypto overtakes bitcoin and bitcoin becomes number 2 instead of number 1 many bitcoin holders will dump their bitcoins to buy the new number 1. Since bitcoin derives most of it's value currently merely by being number 1 in market cap.

I think Chainlink (LINK) has all the makings of a bitcoin killer, it has a profound use case that it has no real competitors for unlike bitcoin that is at war with gold and silver for the role of 'store of value'. Banks and nation-states preference for Gold > Bitcoin is telling.
