BTCUSD 1W bearish TK-cross on standard ichimoku settings

The t-line (blue) will cross the k-line (red), highlighted with an arrow on the chart, if weekly candles continue to close below approximately $7175 USD. Given current global events, traditional market trends, and the upcoming #halving, I anticipate completion of the bearish cross. This will be the first time in #bitcoin history that the bearish cross occurs below the cloud on the #weekly #chart. The #monthly BTCUSD chart also suggests a descending triangle formation. I do not rule out the possibility of a near-term #bounce to approximately $8500 USD. However I expect new lows if BTCUSD does not break above 10k USD in 2020. Consolidation in the current 8k-6k range through the #halving would also signal a bearish trend, considering bitcoin's price history around halvings.
