BLOG. Trading scenario BTC-USD (26 December 2017 - 6 March 2018)
Note. This is not a real trade, this is just a trading scenario to show you, what would be the result of my Crypto Trading System, trading BTC-USD from 26 December 2017 to 6 March 2018, on the Daily Chart.
The market was crashing, and the art of trading is surviving, during those difficult times. You never know when the market goes down or up, why?! Simply because no one can predict the future with 100% certainty.
That is why when we get a Entry (buy) signal, we are entering with a small percentage of our investment capital, if the market goes up, than we will enjoy seeing our profits grow, but if the market goes down, than we'll use our DCA-buy (Dollar Cost Average), which is a important part of my Trading System, to keep the average price of our transaction lower and lower.
In this trading scenario, on 26 December 2017 we got a Entry (buy) signal from my Trading System and we opened the transaction with only 10% of our investment capital. Entry price $15680.
After that, the market went down and than up and than down further again. On 25 January 2018 we got the first DCA-buy signal from the Trading System, at the price $11147.
The market was crashing and went down further to $6000 on 6 February 2018. On 7 February 2018 we got the second DCA-buy signal from my Trading System, so we bought more Bitcoins at the price of $7586.
After 2 DCA-buys is our average price dropped to $10499.75. And the market went up again. On 6 March 2018 i got the Close (sell) signal from the Trading System and so finally we closed the transaction with 1.59% profit.
1.59% is maybe not so a big profit, but think about, that we survived a 70% crashing market, we survived the 70% crash and finally we closed the transaction with profit, and that is the art of trading, make nice easy profits during a bull market, but you must have a Trading System that is able to survive a dramatically crashing market, which is very important to be a successful trader.
