11% weekly losses
* The portfolio price for 5 days remained in the consolidation zone C between the 30d SMA and
(just below) the 50d SMA.
* During this period the "smart money" had the chance to sell (with big gains) to those who
considered this first dip as a buying opportunity. Also the 30d and 50d SMAs had the necessary
time to turn their slope to downward.
* When there were no more buyers the price broke downwards the consolidation zone C
decisively and the retreat continued accelerated. In this phase the inexperienced investors
(traders) that have been trapped in higher prices hesitate to sell and take their losses and
these getting even bigger.
* Now the 9d SMA crossed downwards the 30d and 50d SMAs with a very sharp slope. The new
traders should understand the importance of the Simple Moving Averages. They are not just
lines. They reflect the traders psycology and therefore the levels of support and resistance.
Now the 9 days psycology is very bad and the 30 and 50 days psycology from stable begins
to worsen and turning to negative.
* That is one of the reasons for the rising reactions: to calm the traders and persuade them that
things go back to normal (that is rise continuation) so as not to sell and buy more averaging down.
* If we had in the HERCULES portfolio our initial stock holdings, our capital would be 11% less in
a week. The loss would be 5.5% if we had 50% cash and 0% if we had already 100% cash.
* All the stock prices of the initial portfolio (MRNA, INO, ERIC, ZM, HFG and CRSR) are below both
the 30d and the 50d SMAs. INO's and ZM's price is below the 200d SMA too. CRSR's price is below
the 200(10h) SMA (the 200d SMA is not yet defined because it's a recent IPO).
* Any rising reaction (which is very probable now) must be considered as a chance to sell in
higher prices. This guideline will change only if the prices cross upwards the 30d, 50d and
the 200d SMAs.
