The price of gold today is trading fairly stable around $1993 and there haven't been many changes compared to the same time yesterday.

-US banks will be closed for Thanksgiving. The market will be slower due to low liquidity! From chart observation, Gold seems to be moving sideways as the main dominant and within the range of the 34 and 89 EMA.
The current resistance level is still $1997, surpassing this level could bring gold back to $2005 once again. On the other hand, the price could still break down to $1885 to strengthen the upward trend before new developments are clarified in next week's news.
