Until we have UBI - gold won't attain ATH, since we're in a deflationary spiral. We will achieve 1575, the question is, will it go down to 1385? Afterwards, gold will go to the moon, but I anticipate miners will have to deal with ESG/Climate Change policies that will put a damper on profits. I wouldn't be surprised if gains from gold/silver/miners will be taxed to avoid "unnecessary elevation in raw materials that hurts the public."
Miners will be a winning trade next year, maybe another year, but I see the best trade long term being silver, more specifically, for Americans, "junk silver" because of the following reasons:
