Heikin Ashi Candles - Actual Close is a simple script that instead of displaying Heikin Ashi Close it displays the actual close.
This script is a handy tool for anyone that wants to use Heikin Ashi candles that displays the real close. The coloring of the candles is still based on the Heikin Ashi calculations.
To display the Heikin Ashi candle direction on your normal chart, using this script is better than switching between layouts. It includes different display modes so that you can use it alongside other indicators without clashing visually (bar colour/plotted shapes/shapes on flip only), and alerts on changes in direction. Many scripts include some or other of these...
This script uses Heikin Ashi candles to smooth out the candles, then counts how many consecutive candles in a row are the same colour (red or green). It then takes each count and multiples it by the difference between close and open, to provide a weighted movement.
Where larger moves create greater impulses.
Lite version of the original Trendy Bar Trend Color
This will only color the candlestick body of your chart
Can be used with solid, hollow, renko, or any other chart type
Custom coloring for Highs, Lows, and consolidation is removed
My own implantation of Heikin Ashi which i call HAT.
The Heikin Ashi Trend Indicator (HAT) used to determine the price direction of an asset, as well as draw attention to when the price direction is changing.
The HAT indicator translates the current close/open/high/low into Heikin Ashi and smooths them a bit using Tilson T3 formula.
Buy signal when Heikin Ashi...
You can use this script to setup alerts on Heikin-Ashi bar color change.
You have to apply this script to usual candles and not Heikin-Ashi!!!
Background color indicates HA bar color. On change you'll see green/red arrows and alert will be fired.
Also you can find in the code calculations of all HA OHLC values.
This is Traditional Heikin-Ashi bars overlayed with regular candlestick/any chart type
Although HA is available in TradingView by default, this script is to recalculate HA by traditional calculations.
This version REPAINTS!! This is because Traditional HA uses Close Price (which is calculated on the fly).
This is non-repaiting Supertrend Multi Time Frame script, uses Heikin Ashi Candles as source on normal chart
There is an option for Higher Time Frame. if you choose "Auto" then Higher Time Frame calculation is made by the script. If you choose "User Defined" option and then you can select Time Frame.
You better use this script with other indicators such as RSI,...
This is a script to place Heiken Ashi candles on your chart alongside another candle type or more importantly, using the variables from this script, you can build a strategy using Heiken Ashi candles that will depict true/proper entries and exits in a strategy when using the backtest feature.
We hope this helps!
The 10/20 MA Heikin-Ashi Strategy is the best I know. It's easy, it's elegant, it's effective.
It's particularly effective in markets that trend on the daily. You may lose some money when markets are choppy, but your loss will be more than compensated when you're aboard during the big moves at the beginning of a trend or after retraces. There's that, and you...
Using this script you can create alerts for my Heikin-Ashi PSAR Strategy:
When creating alerts use "Once Per Bar Close" in parameters.
Please remember that past performance may not be indicative of future results.
Due to various factors,...
Heiken Ashi Triangles at the Top and Bottom of Screen
The image below shows the comparison to actual Heiken Ashi candles
(Though changing from candles to Heiken Ashi tends to smooth the triangles a little)
Simple script to view Heiken-Ashi candles below a normal candles chart.
Could also be useful for using HA calcs in strategy scripts on normal candles chart for proper backtesting.
I adapted this to v4 from original v2 script by @samtsui. If you like please remember to give him a Thumbs Up for his original version! ->...
A problem with Heikin Ashi is that while it gives you a great overview of overall direction, it is rarely possible to use it as a replacement for normal japanese
candlesticks. The reason for this is that actual price data is lost, since the candles are more akin to a moving average than a different way to see price action. Also, with Heikin Ashi, most of the...
Chaikin Oscillator, with the addition of cross symbols to indicate a confirmed positive cross; above zero line.
This is meant to be used with Heikin Ashi candles.
I made this script to confirm a buy point. Often times the MACD will cross positive, with blue HA candles, and it trends sideways and doesn't actually run. Or it runs but only after...
Here are two moving averages, one based on positive candles and the other based on negative candles. If the current bar is positive, the negative MA will use its last known negative bar for the calculation. The default setting uses Heikin Ashi to smooth the candles with the trend, you can turn this off if you want in inputs.
Let me know if you find it useful :)
