An input has several controls:
• Enable disable: Toggle the entire input on or off
• Input: Connect indicators here, choose indicators with a compatible : Signal connector.
• G - Gain: Increase or reduce the strength of the incoming signal by a factor.
█ SIGNAL MODIFIERS
Modification of the signal can be done by three types of settings:
• Scaling: Recalculate weights to a defined scale
○ SC - Scale type: 'RAW' means no modification, 'Scaled' will apply scaling according to MN and MX.
○ MN - Minimum scale value: The minimum scale value to which signals will be scaled
○ MX - Maximum scale value: The maximum scale value to which signals will be scaled
• Modification: This experimental setting will add signal modification to the weight
○ MD - Modifier: 'RAW' means no modification, 'RSI' will transform weights according to the flow and LN of the RSI
○ LN - Length: The length of the RSI modification signal
• Smoothing: Smooth the signal according to a moving average type and moving average length
○ MA - Moving average type: 'RAW' means no modification, other options include: ALMA, EMA, HMA, RMA, SMA, SWMA, VWMA, WMA
○ LN - Moving average length: Define the length for the moving average.
█ FILTER SETTINGS
The core of the filter, determine a signal direction with the signal mode and determine two thresholds, TH1 and TH2
• ¤ - Signal mode:
○ SWING (EL + ES): EL: Enter long and ES: Enter short signals will be sent only, opposite signals will close the other direction.
○ LONG (EL + XL): EL: Enter long and XL: Exit long signals will be sent only.
○ SHORT (ES + XS): ES: Enter short and XS: Exit short signals will be sent only.
• TH1 - Threshold 1: Define how much weight is needed in Threshold 1 for a signal to be accepted and passed through to the connectable strategy .

■ Connectable chaining mechanism
Connectable indicators can be connected directly to the signal monitor, signal filter or strategy , or they can be daisy chained to each other while the last indicator in the chain connects to the signal monitor, signal filter or strategy. When using a signal filter you can chain the filter to the strategy input to make your chain complete.
• Direct chaining: Connect an indicator directly to the signal monitor, signal filter or strategy through the provided inputs (→).
• Daisy chaining: Connect indicators using the indicator input (→). The first in a daisy chain should have a flow (⌥) set to 'Indicator only'. Subsequent indicators use 'Both' to pass the previous weight. The final indicator connects to the signal monitor, signal filter, or strategy.

3. Signal Filter Plus: Update the filter settings if needed
• The default filter mode for the trading direction is SWING, and is compatible with the default settings in the strategy and indicators.
4. Signal Filter Plus: Update the weight threshold settings if needed
• All connectable indicators load by default with a score of 6 for each direction (EL, XL, ES, XS)
• By default, weight threshold is 'ABOVE' Threshold 1 (TH1) and Threshold 2 (TH2), both set at 5. This allows each occurrence to score, as the default score is 1 point above the threshold.
5. Strategy: Connect the strategy to the signal filter in the strategy settings
• Select a strategy input → and select the Signal filter: Signal connector
6. Strategy: Enable filter compatible directions
• As the default setting of the filter is SWING, we should also set the SM (Strategy mode) to SWING.

█ COMMON MISTAKES, CLARIFICATIONS AND TIPS
• Removing an indicator from a chain: Deleting a linked indicator and confirming the "remove study tree" alert will also remove all underlying indicators in the object tree. Before removing one, disconnect the adjacent indicators and move it to the object stack's bottom.
• Point systems: The azLibConnector provides 500 points for each direction (EL: Enter long, XL: Exit long, ES: Enter short, XS: Exit short) Remember this cap when devising a point structure.
• Flow misconfiguration: In daisy chains the first indicator should always have a flow (⌥) setting of 'indicator only' while other indicator should have a flow (⌥) setting of 'both'.
• Hide attributes: As connectable indicators send through quite some information you'll notice all the arguments are taking up some screenwidth and cause some visual clutter. You can disable arguments in Chart Settings / Status line.
• Layout and abbreviations: To maintain a consistent structure, we use abbreviations for each input. While this may initially seem complex, you'll quickly become familiar with them. Each abbreviation is also explained in the inline tooltips.
• Inputs: Connecting a connectable indicator directly to the strategy delivers the raw signal without a weight threshold, meaning every signal will trigger a trade.

By doing so, we're effectively isolating our view to start from that pivotal year, giving us insight into how gold, or indeed any asset, has held up against the backdrop of economic changes, policy shifts, and the inevitable rise in the cost of living. If you're analyzing a stock index like the S&P 500, you might begin your inflation-adjusted view from the index's inception date, which allows you to measure the true growth of the market basket from the moment it started.

1995-Present - Inflation and Purchasing PowerGood day, everyone! Today, we're going to look at a chart that's a bit different from the usual price charts we analyse. This isn't just any chart; it's a lens into the past, adjusted for the reality of inflation—a concept we often hear about but seldom see directly applied to our trading charts.
What we have here is an 'Inflation Adjusted Price' indicator on TradingView, and it's doing something quite special. It's showing us the price of our asset, let's say the S&P 500, not just in today's dollars, but in the dollars of 1995. Why 1995, you ask? Well, it's the starting point we've chosen to measure how much actual buying power has changed since then.
So, every point on this red line we see represents what the S&P 500's value would be if we stripped away the effects of inflation. This is the price in terms of what your money could actually buy you back in 1995.
As traders and investors, we're always looking at prices going up and thinking, 'Great! My investment is growing!' But the real question we should ask is, 'Is my money growing in real terms? Can it buy me more than it did last year, or five, ten, or twenty-five years ago?'
This chart tells us exactly that. If the red line is above the actual price, it means that the S&P 500 has not just grown in nominal terms, but it has actually outpaced inflation. Your investment has grown in real terms; it can buy you more now than it could back in 1995.
On the flip side, if the red line is below the actual price, that's a sign that while the nominal price might be up, the real value, the purchasing power, hasn't grown as much or could even have fallen.

Hello, today I'm going to show you something that shifts our perspective on Bitcoin's value, not just in nominal terms, but adjusted for the real buying power over the years. This Pine Script TAS developed for TradingView does exactly that by taking into account inflation rates from 2009 to the present.
As you know, inflation erodes the purchasing power of money. That $100 in 2009 does not buy you the same amount in goods or services today. The same concept applies to Bitcoin. In the "Smart Money" style, various types of "order blocks" can be traded. This indicator uses a type of "order block" originating from "BoS" (Breakout of Structure). The most important feature of this indicator is the confirmation of two order blocks.

In "technical analysis", there are certain reversal patterns that alert us to a potential reversal of a stock's previous trajectory.
Two significant patterns in this regard are the "Morning Star" pattern and the "Evening Star" pattern, which are formed by a combination of three different candlesticks and are considered as reversal patterns.
Here, we will examine how to identify these patterns and how to respond to them.
🟣 Morning Star Pattern
This pattern forms at the end of a downtrend and indicates the beginning of an uptrend.
The pattern consists of three candlesticks in the following order :
1.A large bearish candlestick
2.A candlestick with a short body
3.A bullish candlestick
With the formation of the morning star pattern, it is expected that the stock price will change direction and continue to rise. Therefore, in such situations, it is advisable to enter a long position and follow the uptrend.
Signs of the morning star pattern :
•The first sign of this pattern is the presence of a small-bodied candlestick at the end of the trend, accompanied by a gap from the previous candlestick (a bearish candlestick with a large body). Therefore, the bodies of the first and second candlesticks do not overlap.
•The second candlestick indicates market confusion and uncertainty. The color of the middle candlestick is not significant.
•The third candlestick must be positive and have a higher price than the previous candlestick (i.e., the small-bodied candlestick).
•The closing price of the third candlestick must be higher than half of the first candlestick.

This pattern forms at the end of an uptrend and indicates the beginning of a downtrend.
The pattern consists of three candlesticks in the following order :

With the formation of the evening star pattern, it is expected that the stock price will change direction and continue to fall. Therefore, in such situations where this pattern is identified, it is advisable to refrain from entering a long position.
If the stock is traded in a two-way market, it is possible to profit by taking a short position after the formation of the evening star pattern.

•The first sign of this pattern is the presence of a small-bodied candlestick at the end of the trend, accompanied by a gap from the previous candlestick (a bullish candlestick with a large body). Therefore, the bodies of the first and second candlesticks do not overlap.

The "Filter" and "Market" features are available in the settings section, allowing you to customize the output of the indicator according to your needs.
With the "Filter" feature, you can filter the "Morning Star" and "Evening Star" patterns as "strong" or "weak." The difference between strong and weak patterns lies in their "Candle Body."
In strong patterns, the candle bodies account for more than 80% of the total candle range, while in weak patterns, the bodies comprise between 60% to 80% of the candle range.
If the "Filter" feature is set to "On," only strong patterns will be displayed. If it's set to "Off," all patterns will be displayed. By default, it's set to "Off."
The "Market" feature allows you to include "gaps" in your pattern identification calculations. You can choose between "Forex" and "Stock" modes. In the Forex pattern, calculations are performed without considering gaps since there are fewer gaps in the Forex market.
If gap calculations were to be part of the pattern identification conditions, only a very small number of patterns would be identified. However, in the "Stock" mode, gaps are considered as part of the identification conditions.

Order Blocks Indicator [TradingFinder] Lightning|CHOCH |OB | BOS🔵 Introduction
In "Price Action," an "Order Block" is essentially an area on the price chart where significant players such as institutional traders have executed their moves by placing noteworthy orders. These points often indicate areas where price either attempts to break through (resistance) or returns when it reaches there (support).
Therefore, when discussing the identification of order blocks, we typically refer to finding points where the price has stalled for a while and has accumulated strength before making a significant move in one direction.
Essentially, order blocks assist traders in understanding where large players with "smart money" have likely placed their bulk orders in the market. Traders use these order blocks as part of their overall analysis to identify probable levels where price may change direction.
This version of the order block indicator is designed for traders, adding many indicators to their charts. The minimal design helps minimize disruptions to user focus.
🔵 Identification of Order Blocks
To identify order blocks, first, a "Level Break" must occur. To identify a "Demand Zone," a "High Level Break" is required, and to identify a "Supply Zone," a "Low Level Break" is needed.

🔵 "Change of Character" or "Market Shift Structure"
"ChoCh" or "MSS" is the "Break Level" that is contrary to the previous trend. For example, if a "Bearish Level" is established in the market and consecutive "Low Levels" are being broken, the price turns upward, breaking a "High Level." This break is called "ChoCh" or "MSS."
🔵 "Break of Structure"
"Break of Structure," or "BoS" for short, is the "Break Level" in the direction of the current trend. For example, if a "Bullish Level" is established in the market, when the price breaks a "High Level," a "BoS" has occurred.

This feature helps you easily identify major levels. These levels form when the price breaks another major level.
🟣 Refine Order Block
The "Refinement" feature allows you to adjust the width of the order block based on your strategy. There are two modes, "Aggressive" and "Defensive," in Order Block Refine. The difference between "Aggressive" and "Defensive" lies in the width of the order block. For "Risk Averse" traders, the "Defensive" mode is suitable because it provides smaller stop losses and larger reward-to-risk ratios. For "Risk Taker" traders, the "Aggressive" mode is more suitable. These traders prefer to enter trades at higher prices and this mode, where the width of the order block is greater, is more suitable for this group of individuals.
🔵 How to Use
After adding the indicator to your chart, you will see a visual similar to the image below. Green order blocks are "Demand Zones" and red order blocks are "Supply Zones." The midpoint of the order blocks also indicates 50% of it.
Refine Order Block is defaulted to On and refines the order blocks. If you want the order blocks to remain original, you should set it to Off.
Refine is defaulted to "Defensive" mode. If you want it to be in "Aggressive" mode, you should change its mode through Refine Type.
Displaying "Major Levels" is turned off by default and to display them, you should set "Show High Level" and "Show Low Level" to "Yes." You can use these lines to identify liquidity or determine stop loss and take profit levels.
TTrades Daily Bias [TFO]Inspired by @TTrades_edu video on daily bias, this indicator aims to develop a higher timeframe bias and collect data on its success rate. While a handful of concepts were introduced in said video, this indicator focuses on one specific method that utilizes previous highs and lows. The following description will outline how the indicator works using the daily timeframe as an example, but the weekly timeframe is also an included option that functions in the exact same manner.
On the daily timeframe, there are a handful of possible scenarios that we consider: if price closes above its previous day high (PDH), the following day's bias will target PDH; if price trades above its PDH but closes back below it, the following day's bias will target its previous day low (PDL).
Similarly, if price closes below its PDL, the following day's bias will target PDL. If price trades below its PDL but closes back above it, the following day's bias will target PDH.
If price trades as an inside bar that doesn't take either PDH or PDL, it will refer to the previous candle for bias. If the previous day closed above its open, it will target PDH and vice versa. If price trades as an outside bar that takes both PDH and PDL, but closes inside that range, no bias is assigned.
With a rigid framework in place, we can apply it to the charts and observe the results.
As shown above, each new day starts by drawing out the PDH and PDL levels. They start out as blue and turn red once traded through (these are the default colors which can be changed in the indicator's settings). The triangles you see are plotted to indicate the time at which PDH or PDL was traded through. This color scheme is also applied to the table in the top right; once a bias is determined, that cell's color starts out as blue and turns red once the level is traded through.
The table indicates the success rate of price hitting the levels provided by each period's bias, followed by the success rate of price closing through said levels after reaching them, as well as the sample size of data collected for each scenario.
In the above crude oil futures (CL1!) 30m chart, we can glean a lot of information from the table in the top right. First we may note that the "PDH" cell is red, which indicates that the current day's bias was targeting PDH and it has already traded through that level. We might also note that the "PWH" cell is blue, which indicates that the weekly bias is targeting the previous week high (PWH) but price has yet to reach that level.
As an example of how to read the table's data, we can look at the "PDH" row of the crude oil chart above. The sample size here indicates that there were 279 instances where the daily bias was assigned as PDH. From this sample size, 76.7% of instances did go on to trade through PDH, and only 53.7% of those instances actually went on to close through PDH after hitting that level.
Of course, greater sample sizes and therefore greater statistical significance may be derived from higher timeframe charts that may go further back in time. The amount of data you can observe may also depend on your TradingView plan.
If we don't want to see the labels describing why bias is assigned a certain way, we can simply turn off the "Show Bias Reasoning" option. Additionally, if we want to see a visual of what the daily and weekly bias currently is, we can plot that along the top and bottom of the chart, as shown above. Here I have daily bias plotted at the top and weekly bias at the bottom, where the default colors of green and red indicate that the bias logic is expecting price to draw towards the given timeframe's previous high or low, respectively.
For a compact table view that doesn't take up much chart space, simply deselect the "Show Statistics" option. This will only show the color-coded bias column for a quick view of what levels are being anticipated (more user-friendly for mobile and other smaller screens).
Alerts can be configured to indicate the bias for a new period, and/or when price hits its previous highs and lows. Simply enable the alerts you want from the indicator's settings and create a new alert with this indicator as the condition. There will be options to use "Any alert() function call" which will alert whatever is selected from the settings, or you can use more specific alerts for bullish/bearish bias, whether price hit PDH/PDL, etc.
Lastly, while the goal of this indicator was to evaluate the effectiveness of a very specific bias strategy, please understand that past performance does not guarantee future results.
All Time High (ATH) Levels [LuxAlgo]The All Time High (ATH) Levels indicator displays a user-set amount of historical all-time high levels made on the user's chart, highlighting potential key price levels.
Displayed levels can be filtered out based on their duration, as well as their relative distance from each other.
The script also evaluates the role a level might have as a support or resistance using a percentage, classifying ATH levels as either support or resistance depending on the result.
🔶 USAGE
On certain assets market participants give a high level of attention to all-time highs made by an asset, with the most pertinent example being Bitcoin.
Previous all-time highs can play important roles as psychological price levels, with the most recent ones often offering major resistance points, and older ones being used as support.
Users can filter out temporary ATHs using the ATH Minimum Duration setting, removing any ATH that lasts less than the user-specified number of bars. Higher values of this setting effectively preserve ATHs that become distinguishable peaks. These can offer more significant support/resistance levels.
When displaying each historical level some of them can be very close to each other. Users can use the "Minimum Distance Between ATH" setting to filter out levels too close to each other, with higher values of this setting returning more spaced levels. Distances are first evaluated from the most recent ATH. Note that this setting can cause repainting.
🔹 SR Classification
The script evaluates the ability of an ATH level to act as a support or resistance since its occurrence, and measures its strength as a percentage, with higher percentage values suggesting a stronger support or resistance.
Levels classified with "R" suggest that the price was located below the level most of the time, indicative of a resistance, while a level classified with "S" suggests that the price was located above the level most of the time, indicative of a support.
Percentages between 99% to 50% are often indicative of supports/resistances being tested, while values below 50% reflect more centered levels. A value of 100% suggests that an ATH level was not tested enough. users can filter out any level with a percentage below the "Minimum %" setting.

ATH Minimum Duration: Minimum duration (in bars) of an ATH, that is the minimum number of bars that must elapse before another ATH can be made.

Three Inside [TradingFinder] 3 Inside Up & Down Chart Patterns🔵 Introduction
"3 inside up" and "3 inside down" denote a duo of candlestick reversal patterns, each comprising three individual candles, commonly observed on candlestick charts.
These patterns manifest as a sequence of three candles, signaling a potential loss of momentum in the current trend and a potential reversal in direction.
This pattern consists of 3 consecutive candles and can be either "bullish" or "bearish".
In the bullish pattern, known as "Inside Up," emerging at the conclusion of a downtrend, the final candle must exhibit bullish characteristics, while the third candle from the end must display bearish traits.

Historical Price Projection [LuxAlgo]The Historical Price Projection tool aims to project future price behavior based on historical price behavior plus a user defined growth factor.

🔶 USAGE
This tool generates a price projection with exactly the same price behavior over the period selected by the user, plus a growth factor .
The user must confirm the selection of the anchor point in order for the tool to be executed; this can be done directly on the chart by clicking on any bar, or via the date field in the settings panel.
As we can see on this chart, the four phases of the market cycle are clearly defined and marked, so we choose the distribution phase as our anchor point because in our analysis, we want to see how the market would behave if we were currently at the same point in the cycle.
In the image above, the growth factor parameter is set to 0 so that the projection matches the selection. The tool will use up to 500 bars after the selection point.
The growth factor is defined as the percentage of drift that the tool will use.
Drift is defined as follows:
For periods with a positive return: average negative return within the period
For negative return periods: average positive return within the period
On the chart above, we have selected the same period but added a growth factor of 10, so that the tool uses a 10% drift in its calculations of future prices.
As the return in the selected period is negative, the added drift will make the projection more bearish than the prices from the selection.
On this chart we have changed the selected period, we have chosen the accumulation phase of the last cycle as the anchor point, again with a growth factor of 10%.
As we can see, prices explode higher, making the projection very bullish, as the added effect of both the bullish selected period and the 10% drift is taken into account.
This last chart is a long-term chart, a quarterly chart of the Dow, and it will serve as a review exercise.

🔵 Introduction
"Reversal candlestick patterns" are among the Japanese candlestick patterns considered as alerts for a potential change in the current price trend. It is often assumed that by identifying reversal candlestick patterns, the price trend will definitely change, either from bullish to bearish or from bearish to bullish. However, this claim is not entirely accurate, and a change in price trend does not always mean a reversal.
Nonetheless, the importance of reversal candlestick patterns remains significant. By recognizing these patterns, you can better predict changes in the trend with higher probability and make better trading decisions.
🔵 Dark Cloud
The "Dark Cloud" pattern occurs when, after an upward trend, buyers continue to drive the price up in the first candle. However, in the next candle, with sellers entering and increasing selling pressure, the price starts to decrease compared to the close of the previous candle.
This price decrease is significant enough that in the last candle, the price goes lower than the open of the previous candle, serving as a warning sign for a potential change in price trend.
The fundamental principles for the formation of the "Dark Cloud" pattern include :
1.Two candles consisting of a positive candle (first candle) and a negative candle (second candle) whose main body should be above the halfway point of the first candle's main body but does not completely cover it.
2.The color of the main body of the second candle should be opposite to the color of the main body of the first candle.
Factors affecting the strength of the "Dark Cloud" pattern include :
1.The length of the bodies of both candles, especially the second candle, which increases the strength of the pattern.
2.The gap between the two bodies can also indicate the strength of the pattern.
3.The absence of a lower shadow in the second candle also indicates the strength of the pattern.
4.If the pattern forms in a price resistance range, it has more strength.
🔵 Piercing Line
The "Piercing Line" pattern occurs when, after a downward trend, sellers decrease the price by offering their shares on the first day. However, on the next day, with buyers entering and increasing demand, the price starts to increase compared to the close of the previous day.
This increase is significant enough that in the last candle, the price goes higher than the open of the previous day, serving as a warning sign for a reversal in the price trend. Overall, this pattern is the opposite of the "Dark Cloud" pattern and occurs under a bearish trend.
The fundamental principles for the formation of the "Piercing Line" pattern include :
1.Two candles consisting of a negative candle (first candle) and a positive candle (second candle) whose main body should be above the halfway point of the first candle's main body but does not completely cover it.

Using the "Show Dark Cloud" and "Show Piercing Line" buttons, you can enable or disable the display of Dark Cloud and Piercing Line.
BTC/USD Inflation priced in! ~Period 2009 - 2023 (by TAS)The script creates a custom indicator titled "BTC Adjusted for Economic Factors.

This strategy combines two technical indicators: Aroon and Absolute Strength Histogram (ASH).

The strategy employs the Aroon indicator alongside the Absolute Strength Histogram (ASH) to determine market trends and potential trade setups. Aroon helps identify the strength and direction of a trend, while ASH provides insights into the strength of momentum. By combining these indicators, the strategy aims to capture profitable trading opportunities in Ethereum markets. Normally when developing strats using indicators, you want to find some good indicators, but you NEED to understand their strengths and weaknesses, other indicators can be incorporated to minimize the downs of another indicator. Try to look for synergy in your indicators!
Indicator settings:
Aroon Indicator:
- Two sets of parameters are used for the Aroon indicator:
- For Long Positions: Aroon periods are set to 56 (upper) and 20 (lower).
- For Short Positions: Aroon periods are set to 17 (upper) and 55 (lower).
Absolute Strength Histogram (ASH):
ASH is calculated with a length of 9 bars using the closing price as the data source.
Trading Conditions:
The strategy incorporates specific conditions to initiate and exit trades:
Start Date:
Traders can specify the start date for backtesting purposes.
Trade Direction:
Traders can select the desired trade direction: Long, Short, or Both.
Entry and Exit Conditions:
1. Long Position Entry: A long position is initiated when the Aroon indicator crosses over (crossover) the lower Aroon threshold, indicating a potential uptrend.

Candle DecompositionThe Candle Decomposition indicator shows the last 2 candles in detail, with 2 levels of lower timeframes (LTF).
In this way, you can keep oversight of history, while zooming in on the last and previous candle.
This tool is meant to be used in realtime, preferentially for intraday usage.
🔶 USAGE
In this example, on the current timeframe of 15 minutes, you see the 2 latest candles, visualized through dotted lines/boxes.
The first LTF level is set at 5 minutes, the second level at 15 seconds:

The combination of 2 LTF's can be helpful in finding support/resistance levels.
These are taken in realtime, not in bar replay, so the outcome wasn't known in advance:

After first testing resistance, the price went to the support area, bouncing back to an area of resistance and breaking it briefly.
Price turned back, and found support, after which resistance was tested once more:

Most common timeframes can be used: 2W, W, 3D, 2D, D, 12h, 8h, 6h, 4h, 3h, 2h, 1h, 30min, 15min, 10min, 5min, 3min, 1min
When having the current chart timeframe at 1 of these TF's, you can set 1st and 2nd LTF. Choices are pré-set to ensure maximum usage of drawings:
In the image above you'll see there are gaps between candles.
The script ensures that when there are no trades, instead of attaching the next bar next to the previous, it leaves the gap visible (which is more realistic).
More in detail you can see the gaps are preserved:

🔹 Limitations
When on a Weekly TF, and 2nd LTF is set at 4h, all drawings have enough space:
If we change the 2nd LTF to 2h, there isn't enough space for the second last candle, after which an orange coloured informational warning label will be shown:
When current chart TF is not 1 of the encoded TF's, a red warning text will be shown:
This script can be used using "Bar Replay", but very limited.
You can change the date ("Jump To..."), but "Play" is not advisable.

This script uses string manipulation to convert inputs like "1 hour", "5 min", "5 sec" to usable timeframe strings like "60", "5" and "5S"
