SPY SPX ES Price Converter+ [Pt]This is a + version of my original SPY SPX ES Price Converter indicator
Description
The SPY SPX ES Price Converter is a powerful and easy-to-use tool that allows traders to view corresponding price levels for linked instruments in real-time. This includes SPY, SPX, ES, and SPX500USD. Although these instruments often move in sync, differences in price movements, volume, and trading hours can create unique key levels and support/resistance areas for each. By mapping these levels on the same chart, traders can more easily spot trading opportunities and improve their chances of success.
Customizable features
- multiplier from the closest whole number price level
- line color
- line style
- label position / size
- # of levels to display
- toggle current price display table
|| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------||
This script includes the following premium unique features.
SPY / SPX Gaps detector
A gap is an area on a chart where the price between two bars changes significantly without any trades happening between them. Such gaps often occur when a strong shift in sentiment happens during the hours when markets are usually closed. This indicator highlights these gaps on the chart and extends them further until they have been covered (i.e., when a newer bar has crossed that gap).
Overnight gaps from SPY or SPX can be mapped directly onto ES chart
VWAPs
VWAPs of these linked instruments can be mapped onto the chart. For example, ES VWAP mapped onto SPY chart, or vise versa. This allows for clear visualization of the price action near these VWAP levels.
Custom Cross Instruments Price Targets
Want to trade SPY options while watching ES chart or vise versa? You can setup to 8 price targets and see the corresponding converted price level. No need to switch between charts to try to figure out which price level corresponds to which.

ICT Day/Week/Month Levels [MK]Displays Open, High, Low, Close and 50% levels for the Previous Day/Week/Month.
Also shows the Open for the Current Day/Week/Month
Also shows the Current New Week Opening Gap Midline (NWOG)
These levels are key to teachings by ICT as well as other trading strategies. There are lots of scripts available for this data, however this one plots the levels to the right of price on the chart to keep the chart as clean as possible. The line styles, colors and text can be customised. The offset to the right of the chart for the start of line and label offsets can also be adjusted.
Labels are abbreviated to PDH (previous day high), CMO (current month open), PW50% (previous week 50% from high to low) ..etc
Recursive Reversal Chart Patterns [Trendoscope]Caution: This algorithm is very heavy and bound to cause timeouts. If that happens, there are few settings you can change to reduce the load. (Will explain them in the description below)
🎲 Recursive Reversal Chart Patterns Indicator
Welcome to another exploration of Zigzag and Pattern ecosystem components. Previously we derived Pitchfork and Recursive Zigzag indicators. This indicator is designed to scan and highlight few popular "Reversal Chart Patterns". Similar to other indicators in the ecosystem, this too is built on recursive zigzags.
Double Taps
Triple Taps
Cup and Handles
Head and Shoulders
Indicator however names the patterns separately for bullish and bearish formations. So, the actual names you see on the screen are

Here is a snapshot on how each category of patterns look on the chart.
🎲 Architecture
Many of you may be cursing me for publishing too many libraries. But, these are all preparations for something big. Like other indicators in the Zigzag and Patterns Ecosystem, this too uses a bunch of libraries.

Note: In case of timeout, please decrease the value of depth parameter
🎯Pattern Selection
Having all the patterns selected on chart may also cause timeouts and will make the chart look messy. It is better to limit one or two patterns on the chart to have clear picture.
🎯Scanner Settings
🎯Indicators.
These are options to use indicators as secondary confirmation to calculate divergence. If selected, the patterns are shown only if the divergence data is inline. Option also available to plugin external indicator. These calculations are not straightforward and not easy to measure by manual inspection. This feature at present is purely experimental.

Yesterday’s High Breakout - Trend Following StrategyYesterday’s High Breakout it is a trading system based on the analysis of yesterday's highs, it works in trend-following mode therefore it opens a long position at the breakout of yesterday's highs even if they occur several times in one day.
There are several methods for exiting a trade, each with its own unique strategy. The first method involves setting Take-Profit and Stop-Loss percentages, while the second utilizes a trailing-stop with a specified offset value. The third method calls for a conditional exit when the candle closes below a reference EMA.
Additionally, operational filters can be applied based on the volatility of the currency pair, such as calculating the percentage change from the opening or incorporating a gap to the previous day's high levels. These filters help to anticipate or delay entry into the market, mitigating the risk of false breakouts.
In the specific case of NULS, a 9% Take-Profit and a 3% Stop-Loss were set, with an activated trailing-stop percentage. To postpone entry and avoid false breakouts, a 1% gap was added to the price of yesterday's highs.

Risk Reward Calculator [lovealgotrading]
OVERVIEW:
This Risk Reward Calculator strategy can help you maximize your RR value with help of algorithmic trading.
INDICATOR:
I wanted to setup my trades more easier with this indicator, I didn't want to calculate everytime before orders, with help this indicator we can calculate R:R value, avarage price, stoploss price, take-profit price, order prices, all position cost and more ...
Our strategy is a risk revard calculation indicator that is made easy to use by using visualized lines and panels, and also has algorithmic trading support.
With the help of this indicator, we can quickly and easily calculate our risk reward values and enter the positions.
If we want to ensure that our balance grows regularly while trading in the stock market, we need to manage the risks and rewards otherwise we may fall below our initial balance at the end of the day, even if we seem to be winning.
What is the Risk-Reward value ?
This value is a value that shows how many times the amount of risk we take when entering the position is successful, we will earn.
- For example, you risked $100 while entering the trade, so if your trade stops, you will lose 100 $.
Your Risk-Reward(RR) value is 2 means that if your position is successful, you will have 200 $ in your pocket.
A trader's success is determined by the amount of R he earns monthly or yearly, not how much money he makes.
What is different in this indicator ?
I want to say thank you to © EvoCrypto. His Calculator (weighted) – evo indicator helped me when I was developed my indicator.
I want to explain what I have improved:
1-In this strategy, we can determine the time period in which we want to open our positions.
2-We can open a maximum of 4 positions in the same direction and close our positions at a single level. StopLoss or TakeProfit
3-This indicator, which works in the form of a strategy, shows where our positions have been opened or closed. With the help of this, it helps us to determine our strategy in our future positions more accurately.
4-The most important improvement is that we do not miss our positions with the help of alarms (WEB HOOK). if we want, we receive by quickly connecting all these positions to our robot, the software can enter and exit the position while we are busy.
IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS – SETTINGS:
1 - We can set the start and end dates of the positions we will take.
2- We can set our take profit, stoploss levels.
3- If your trade is stopped, we can determine the amount of the trade that we will lose.
4- We can adjust our entry levels to positions and our position sizes at entry levels.
(Sum of positions weight must be 100%)
5- We can receive our positions even if we are busy with the help of algorithmic trading. For this, we must paste our Jshon codes into the fields specified in the settings panel.
6- Finally, we can change the settings we want and don't want to have in our visual elements.
Let's make a LONG side example together
We have determined our positions to enter stoploss, take profit and long positions. We did not forget to set the start time of our strategy
Our strategy appear on the graph as follows.
Our strategy has calculated the total position size, our R-R value, the distance of the current price to the stop and take profit levels, in short, a lot of things we could look visually.
Notes:
If you're going to connect this bot to an automatic Long or Short direction,
Don’t forget! you need to Webhook URL,
Don’t miss paste this code to your message window {{strategy.order.alert_message}}

If you have any ideas what to add to my work to add more sources or make calculations cooler, feel free to write me.
ICT Opening Lines [MK]Plots horizontal lines for the following opening times:
00:00 open
08:30 open
09:30 open
13:30 open
Opening lines can be used to monitor for power of 3/judas swings as per ICT teachings. The script allows the user to set a maximum timeframe for displaying the lines to keep HTF charts clean. Also an option is available to hide the lines after the market closes. If the hide option is used, the lines will be removed at 23:00.
Removing the lines after market closes ensures that the charts are clean when the market opens.
Labels can be displayed, colors and line styles can be customised.
ViPlay Signal demo versionViPlay Signal is a trading indicator designed for the TradingView platform that generates buy and sell signals based on a combination of technical indicators. The indicator uses two different Moving Averages, the Market Range Oscillator (MRO), and the Williams Percent Range (WPR) to provide traders with a comprehensive set of tools for identifying potential entry and exit points, confirming trends, and managing risk.
The Moving Averages used in the indicator are the 50-period and 200-period Simple Moving Averages (SMA) of the closing price, which are widely used in technical analysis to identify trends and support/resistance levels. The Market Range Oscillator (MRO) is a proprietary indicator that measures the range of the market, which can help identify extreme market conditions. The MRO is used to determine buy and sell signals, with two different calculations performed to identify each type of signal.
The Williams Percent Range (WPR) is a momentum indicator that helps traders identify overbought and oversold conditions in the market. By using the WPR in combination with the Moving Averages and the MRO, the ViPlay Signal indicator can provide more accurate and reliable signals to traders.
The indicator allows users to select a strategy from a dropdown menu that includes BTC 1m, 3m, 15m, 4H, and LTC 3m, ideal 5m, and 15m super. The values of some of the parameters change based on the selected strategy, allowing traders to customize the indicator to their specific needs.
The ViPlay Signal indicator plots buy and sell signals on the chart as labels with arrows pointing up or down to indicate the direction of the trade. A green arrow represents a buy signal, and a red arrow represents a sell signal. The chart is clean and easy to read, with complete symbol/timeframe and script name information provided.
In summary, the ViPlay Signal indicator is a powerful and customizable tool for traders looking to improve their trading performance. The indicator provides a comprehensive set of technical analysis tools, including Moving Averages, the MRO, and the WPR, to help traders identify potential trading opportunities and manage risk.
Boftei's StrategyI wrote this strategy about a year ago, but decided to publish it just now. I have not been able to implement this strategy in the market. If you can, then I will be happy for you.
This strategy is based on my "Botvenko Script". (It finds the difference between the logarithms of closing prices from different days.) (Check this script in my profile)
Then the strategy makes trades when the "Botvenko Script" indicator crosses the levels set earlier and manually selected for each currency pair/shares: long/short opening/closing levels, long/short re-entry levels. (They are drawn with horizontal dotted lines.) The names of these lines are: buy/sell level, long/short retry - too low/high, long close up/down, dead - close the short. Manual selection of each of the parameters provides a qualitative entry of the strategy into the deal. However, without restraining mechanisms, the strategy enters into rather controversial deals. In order to avoid going long/short during bear/bull markets, which is unacceptable, I added a fan of EMA lines.
The fan consists of several EMA lines, which are set according to Fibonacci numbers (21, 55, 89, 144). If the lines in the fan are arranged in ascending order (ema_21>ema_55 and ema_55>ema_89 and ema_89>ema_144), then this indicates a bull market, during which I banned shorting. And vice versa: during the bear market (ema_21<ema_55 and ema_55<ema_89 and ema_89<ema_144) I banned long trading. If these two inequalities are not met, then this indicates that the market is flat, and during it it is allowed to enter any transactions, because a flat is a good moment to catch massive movements in the future by entering a transaction. (This is all visualized using semi-transparent thick lines of green, yellow and red colors.)
By default, all parameters are adjusted for the btc/usd (bitstamp) pair. Best of all, the strategy shows itself if 1 candle = 1 day.
At the time of writing, on the pair btcusd (bitstamp) (1d) with pyramiding = 1, the strategy shows a profit of 64728896%. If pyramiding is increased by 1, then the profit will be greater, but I still prefer pyramiding = 1.
There is a possibility that my strategy is doing complete nonsense. I don't vouch for her.
If you select parameters for other pairs of currencies/stocks, then you should not change anything in the fan of lines.
That's all, probably.
Fib Retracement AlgoFib Retracement Algo
Description: This indicator has a series of steps that it takes before it finds possible retracement areas depending on the trend. The indicator itself is really simple to use.
How does it work?
This indicator uses the Hurst Exponent to verify whether or not the market is trending or not. It then determines the trend and then decides which retracement is possible.
If the hurst is below 0.5, then the retracement lines won't appear; they only appear in a trending market above 0.5 if you don't see the lines.
How Traders can use this indicator
Traders who trade bounces or retracements can use this indicator and enjoy the verification process that goes behind finding these retracements. This indicator can also be used to identify possible gaps on some occasions.
Examples of the indicator:
ThiccZonesThis indicator is a formula that includes 4 different zones which are different sizes based on the ticker you decide to use. It was optimized for SPY and other market ETFs but works well for all stocks on the market. The formula puts a zone at the previous day's high and low, and the previous 5 day's high and low. These zones are meant to be used as support and resistance and can even overlap, creating a 'master zone'. This is different than other zone indicators because the formula for these zones is something I created myself and have been unable to find on here. I have had the most success using a 1-15 minute chart and using my zones for reversal areas. I often look for other indications of reversal as well that line up with the area of the zones. It can also be used on the break and retest of these zones. I have found that when a stock breaks one of these zones it will often retest and continue that trend.
Reverse PMAR & PMARPIntroducing the Reverse PMAR & PMARP
Concept
The PMAR/PMARP is an indicator which calculates :
The ratio between a chosen source price and a user defined moving average ( Price Moving Average Ratio ).
The percentile of the PMAR over an adjustable lookback period ( Price Moving Average Ratio Percentile ).
Here I have reverse engineered the PMAR / PMARP formulas to derive several functions.
These functions calculate the chart price at which the PMAR/PMARP will cross a particular scale value.
I have employed those functions here to give the "crossover" price levels for :
Upper alert level
Upper test level
Mid-Line
Lower test level
Lower alert level
Knowing the price at which these various user defined PMARP levels will be crossed can be useful in setting price levels that trigger components of various strategies.
For example: using the reverse engineered upper test price level, to set take a take profit limit order on a long trade, which was entered when PMARP was low.
The indicator displays either the PMAR or PMARP as a line plot with optional signal moving average.
It also plots optional visual alert level lines, test level lines, background signal bars, and a display panel with reverse engineered prices.

Initial Balance |ASE|Introduction
Initial Balance (IB) refers to the price data that is formed during the first hour of a trading session. It is an important concept in trading as it provides insights into the market's opening sentiment and potential trading opportunities or reversals for the day. There are multiple trading sessions throughout the day. The most popular, the NY Session, is open from 9:30 am to 4:00pm EST making the Initial Balance(IB) range the first hour (9:30-10:30) The other sessions include London, Tokyo, and Sydney.
IB Customization
The Initial Balance lines are fully customizable to fit the traders need.
Show Initial Balance
This setting will plot the Initial Balance
Fill/Extend IB Range
The Fill IB Range toggle fills the area in between the IB High and IB Low. Use the IB Fill Color option to change the fill color in the “Line Settings” group on the settings panel.
The Extend IB Range extends the IB lines until the market closes.

The Show 1x Extension toggle displays 1 times the IB range line (IB High - IB Low) above IB High and 1 times the IB range line below IB Low.
The Show 2x Extension toggle displays the 2 times the IB range line (IB High - IB Low) above IB High and 2 times the IB range line below IB Low.
*Use the Extension Level Color in the “Line Settings” to change the color of the lines.
Show Middle Levels
The Show Middle Levels toggle shows all the 50% lines between the upper 2x and upper 1x line, upper 1x and IB high, IB high and IB low, IB low and lower 1x line, and the lower 1x and lower 2x line.
*Use the Mid Level Color in the “Line Settings” to change the color of the lines.
Delete Previous Day’s Levels
This setting will only show the current day's Initial Balance and delete all previous day levels to produce a clean chart.
How To Use:
The Initial Balance Range can support a bias as it shows the opening market sentiment. By watching price action interact with the Initial Balance Range we can watch for indications of trending or failing moves at the high or the low and overall a ranging or trending session.
The extension levels are projections as to where price could potentially reach in a trending market. If we are bullish and trending higher, we would want to see price reach the first extension, signs of strength at these levels can be used as confirmation to target other levels.
Overall, all these levels can and should be used as support and resistance levels, and as always, can not be used by themselves and require additional confirmation, whether that be an indicator or price action. Below you can see chart examples of these levels in action.
Pivot Breaches by nnamdertWhat does this Indicator do?
This Pivot Point Line Breach Indicator is a simple yet powerful tool that automatically plots lines at the high and low pivot point levels and extends the lines forward to the most recent real-time bar. When the price breaches a line, the line stops at that breach point. The unbreached lines, however, continue on until they are eventually breached or the indictor reaches the maximum number of lines set by the user.
How is this Indicator helpful?
The pivot point lines plotted on the chart show areas where the price may eventually revert to. By knowing whether or not these lines have been breached, traders can easily identify potential entry points or support lines that are likely to be breached, especially when used with other indicators.
As shown in the screenshot below, some lines have been breached, while several others remain. Once the lines were breached, we could clearly see that the price moved quickly to the next level.
The indicator user inputs enable the plotting of up to 500 lines on the chart, if the user chooses to set the limit to 500. However, the default setting is currently set to a lower number, allowing traders to easily view the most recent unbreached pivot points.
The plotted lines are located at the close and high or low of the bar that generated the line. When there is a long wick, the two lines are plotted far from each other. A breach of both lines, particularly in the case of a long wick, indicates strong movement in the direction of the breach.
Thank you for using my indicator, and I hope it helps you make profitable trading decisions.

Inverse Head and Shoulders Patterns [theEccentricTrader]█ OVERVIEW
This indicator automatically draws inverse head and shoulders patterns and price projections derived from the ranges that constitute the patterns.
█ CONCEPTS
Green and Red Candles
• A green candle is one that closes with a close price equal to or above the price it opened.
• A red candle is one that closes with a close price that is lower than the price it opened.
Swing Highs and Swing Lows
• A swing high is a green candle or series of consecutive green candles followed by a single red candle to complete the swing and form the peak.
• A swing low is a red candle or series of consecutive red candles followed by a single green candle to complete the swing and form the trough.
Peak and Trough Prices (Basic)
• The peak price of a complete swing high is the high price of either the red candle that completes the swing high or the high price of the preceding green candle, depending on which is higher.
• The trough price of a complete swing low is the low price of either the green candle that completes the swing low or the low price of the preceding red candle, depending on which is lower.
Historic Peaks and Troughs
The current, or most recent, peak and trough occurrences are referred to as occurrence zero. Previous peak and trough occurrences are referred to as historic and ordered numerically from right to left, with the most recent historic peak and trough occurrences being occurrence one.
Upper Trends
• A return line uptrend is formed when the current peak price is higher than the preceding peak price.
• A downtrend is formed when the current peak price is lower than the preceding peak price.
• A double-top is formed when the current peak price is equal to the preceding peak price.
Lower Trends
• An uptrend is formed when the current trough price is higher than the preceding trough price.
• A return line downtrend is formed when the current trough price is lower than the preceding trough price.
• A double-bottom is formed when the current trough price is equal to the preceding trough price.
Range
The range is simply the difference between the current peak and current trough prices, generally expressed in terms of points or pips.
Support and Resistance
• Support refers to a price level where the demand for an asset is strong enough to prevent the price from falling further.
• Resistance refers to a price level where the supply of an asset is strong enough to prevent the price from rising further.
Support and resistance levels are important because they can help traders identify where the price of an asset might pause or reverse its direction, offering potential entry and exit points. For example, a trader might look to buy an asset when it approaches a support level , with the expectation that the price will bounce back up. Alternatively, a trader might look to sell an asset when it approaches a resistance level , with the expectation that the price will drop back down.
It's important to note that support and resistance levels are not always relevant, and the price of an asset can also break through these levels and continue moving in the same direction.
Breakouts and Breakdowns
• A breakout occurs when the price of an asset breaks above a resistance level.
• A breakdown occurs when the price of an asset breaks below a support level.
• A confirmed breakout occurs when the price of an asset breaks and closes above a resistance level.
• A confirmed breakdown occurs when the price of an asset breaks and closes below a support level.
It's important to note that breakouts and breakdowns of resistance and support levels are not always relevant, and the price of an asset can also reverse once it has broken through a level to carry on in the opposite direction.
Trendlines
Trendlines are straight lines that are drawn between two or more points on a price chart. These lines are used as dynamic support and resistance levels for making strategic decisions and predictions about future price movements. For example traders will look for price movements along, and reactions to, trendlines in the form of rejections or breakouts/downs.
Inverse Head and Shoulders Patterns
Inverse head and shoulders patterns are generally characterised by three troughs with the one in the middle being the lowest of the three.
The current peak acts as neckline resistance and the trendline drawn from the preceding peak to current peak acts as dynamic neckline resistance.
Traders typically look for breakouts of Inverse head and shoulders necklines to identify potential trading opportunities, with targets and stop losses set as multiples of the pattern's range.

All green and red candle calculations are based on differences between open and close prices, as such I have made no attempt to account for green candles that gap lower and close below the close price of the preceding candle, or red candles that gap higher and close above the close price of the preceding candle. This may cause some unexpected behaviour on some markets and timeframes. I can only recommend using 24-hour markets, if and where possible, as there are far fewer gaps and, generally, more data to work with.
Head and Shoulders Patterns [theEccentricTrader]█ OVERVIEW
This indicator automatically draws head and shoulders patterns and price projections derived from the ranges that constitute the patterns.

Breakouts and Breakdowns
• A breakout occurs when the price of an asset breaks above a resistance level.
• A breakdown occurs when the price of an asset breaks below a support level.
• A confirmed breakout occurs when the price of an asset breaks and closes above a resistance level.
• A confirmed breakdown occurs when the price of an asset breaks and closes below a support level.

Market Structure & Liquidity: CHoCHs+Nested Pivots+FVGs+Sweeps//Purpose:
This indicator combines several tools to help traders track and interpret price action/market structure; It can be divided into 4 parts;
1. CHoCHs, 2. Nested Pivot highs & lows, 3. Grade sweeps, 4. FVGs.
This gives the trader a toolkit for determining market structure and shifts in market structure to help determine a bull or bear bias, whether it be short-term, med-term or long-term.
This indicator also helps traders in determining liquidity targets: wether they be voids/gaps (FVGS) or old highs/lows+ typical sweep distances.
Finally, the incorporation of HTF CHoCH levels printing on your LTF chart helps keep the bigger picture in mind and tells traders at a glance if they're above of below Custom HTF CHoCH up or CHoCH down (these HTF CHoCHs can be anything from Hourly up to Monthly).
//Nomenclature:
CHoCH = Change of Character
STH/STL = short-term high or low
MTH/MTL = medium-term high or low
LTH/LTL = long-term high or low
FVG = Fair value gap
CE = consequent encroachement (the midline of a FVG)
~~~ The Four components of this indicator ~~~
1. CHoCHs:
•Best demonstrated in the below charts. This was a method taught to me by @Icecold_crypto. Once a 3 bar fractal pivot gets broken, we count backwards the consecutive higher lows or lower highs, then identify the CHoCH as the opposite end of the candle which ended the consecutive backwards count. This CHoCH (UP or DOWN) then becomes a level to watch, if price passes through it in earnest a trader would consider shifting their bias as market structure is deemed to have shifted.
•HTF CHoCHs: Option to print Higher time frame chochs (default on) of user input HTF. This prints only the last UP choch and only the last DOWN choch from the input HTF. Solid line by default so as to distinguish from local/chart-time CHoCHs. Can be any Higher timeframe you like.
•Show on table: toggle on show table(above/below) option to show in table cells (top right): is price above the latest HTF UP choch, or is price below HTF DOWN choch (or is it sat between the two, in a state of 'uncertainty').
•Most recent CHoCHs which have not been met by price will extend 10 bars into the future.
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: SHOW CHOCHS | Set bars lookback number to limit historical Chochs. Set Live CHoCHs number to control the number of active recent chochs unmet by price. Toggle shrink chochs once hit to declutter chart and minimize old chochs to their origin bars. Set Multi-timeframe color override : to make Color choices auto-set to your preference color for each of 1m, 5m, 15m, H, 4H, D, W, M (where up and down are same color, but 'up' icon for up chochs and down icon for down chochs remain printing as normal)
2. Nested Pivot Highs & Lows; aka 'Pivot Highs & Lows (ST/MT/LT)'
•Based on a seperate, longer lookback/lookforward pivot calculation. Identifies Pivot highs and lows with a 'spikeyness' filter (filtering out weak/rounded/unimpressive Pivot highs/lows)
•by 'nested' I mean that the pivot highs are graded based on whether a pivot high sits between two lower pivot highs or vice versa.
--for example: STH = normal pivot. MTH is pivot high with a lower STH on either side. LTH is a pivot high with a lower MTH on either side. Same applies to pivot lows (STL/MTL/LTL)
•This is a useful way to measure the significance of a high or low. Both in terms of how much it might be typically swept by (see later) and what it would imply for HTF bias were we to break through it in earnest (more than just a sweep).
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: show pivot highs & lows | Bars lookback (historical pivots to show) | Pivots: lookback/lookforward length (determines the scale of your pivot highs/lows) | toggle on/off Apply 'Spikeyness' filter (filters out smooth/unimpressive pivot highs/lows). Set Spikeyness index (determines the strength of this filter if turned on) | Individually toggle on each of STH, MTH, LTH, STL, MTL, LTL along with their label text type , and size . Toggle on/off line for each of these Pivot highs/lows. | Set label spacer (atr multiples above / below) | set line style and line width
3. Grade Sweeps:
•These are directly related to the nested pivots described above. Most assets will have a typical sweep distance. I've added some of my expected sweeps for various assets in the indicator tooltips.
--i.e. Eur/Usd 10-20-30 pips is a typical 'grade' sweep. S&P HKEX:5 - HKEX:10 is a typical grade sweep.
•Each of the ST/MT/LT pivot highs and lows have optional user defined grade sweep boxes which paint above until filled (or user option for historical filled boxes to remain).
•Numbers entered into sweep input boxes are auto converted into appropriate units (i.e. pips for FX, $ or 'handles' for indices, $ for Crypto. Very low $ units can be input for low unit value crypto altcoins.
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: Show sweep boxes | individually select colors of each of STH, MTH, LTH, STL, MTL, LTL sweep boxes. | Set Grade sweep ($/pips) number for each of ST, MT, LT. This auto converts between pips and $ (i.e. FX vs Indices/Crypto). Can be a float as small or large as you like ($0.000001 to HKEX:1000 ). | Set box text position (horizontal & vertical) and size , and color . | Set Box width (bars) (for non extended/ non-auto-terminating at price boxes). | toggle on/off Extend boxes/lines right . | Toggle on/off Shrink Grade sweeps on fill (they will disappear in realtime when filled/passed through)
4. FVGs:
•Fair Value gaps. Represent 'naked' candle bodies where the wicks to either side do not meet, forming a 'gap' of sorts which has a tendency to fill, or at least to fill to midline (CE).
•These are ICT concepts. 'UP' FVGS are known as BISIs (Buyside imbalance, sellside inefficiency); 'DOWN' FVGs are known as SIBIs (Sellside imbalance, buyside inefficiency).
• USER INPUTS: overall setting: show FVGs | Bars lookback (history). | Choose to display: 'UP' FVGs (BISI) and/or 'DOWN FVGs (SIBI) . Choose to display the midline: CE , the color and the line style . Choose threshold: use CE (as opposed to Full Fill) |toggle on/off Shrink FVG on fill (CE hit or Full fill) (declutter chart/see backtesting history)
////••Alerts (general notes & cautionary notes)::
•Alerts are optional for most of the levels printed by this indicator. Set them via the three dots on indicator status line.
•Due to dynamic repainting of levels, alerts should be used with caution. Best use these alerts either for Higher time frame levels, or when closely monitoring price.
--E.g. You may set an alert for down-fill of the latest FVG below; but price will keep marching up; form a newer/higher FVG, and the alert will trigger on THAT FVG being down-filled (not the original)
•Available Alerts:
-FVG(BISI) cross above threshold(CE or full-fill; user choice). Same with FVG(SIBI).
-HTF last CHoCH down, cross below | HTF last CHoCH up, cross above.
-last CHoCH down, cross below | last CHoCH up, cross above.
-LTH cross above, MTH cross above, STH cross above | LTL cross below, MTL cross below, STL cross below.
////••Formatting (general)::
•all table text color is set from the 'Pivot highs & Lows (ST, MT, LT)' section (for those of you who prefer black backgrounds).
•User choice of Line-style, line color, line width. Same with Boxes. Icon choice for chochs. Char or label text choices for ST/MT/LT pivot highs & lows.
////••User Inputs (general):
•Each of the 4 components of this indicator can be easily toggled on/off independently.
•Quite a lot of options and toggle boxes, as described in full above. Please take your time and read through all the tooltips (hover over '!' icon) to get an idea of formatting options.
•Several Lookback periods defined in bars to control how much history is shown for each of the 4 components of this indicator.
•'Shrink on fill' settings on FVGs and CHoCHs: Basically a way to declutter chart; toggle on/off depending on if you're backtesting or reading live price action.
•Table Display: applies to ST/MT/LT pivot highs and to HTF CHoCHs; Toggle table on or off (in part or in full)
Green and Red Candles
• A green candle is one that closes with a close price equal to or above the price it opened.
• A red candle is one that closes with a close price that is lower than the price it opened.
Swing Highs and Swing Lows
• A swing high is a green candle or series of consecutive green candles followed by a single red candle to complete the swing and form the peak.
• A swing low is a red candle or series of consecutive red candles followed by a single green candle to complete the swing and form the trough.
Peak and Trough Prices (Basic)
• The peak price of a complete swing high is the high price of either the red candle that completes the swing high or the high price of the preceding green candle, depending on which is higher.
• The trough price of a complete swing low is the low price of either the green candle that completes the swing low or the low price of the preceding red candle, depending on which is lower.
Historic Peaks and Troughs
The current, or most recent, peak and trough occurrences are referred to as occurrence zero. Previous peak and trough occurrences are referred to as historic and ordered numerically from right to left, with the most recent historic peak and trough occurrences being occurrence one.
Upper Trends
• A return line uptrend is formed when the current peak price is higher than the preceding peak price.
• A downtrend is formed when the current peak price is lower than the preceding peak price.
• A double-top is formed when the current peak price is equal to the preceding peak price.
Lower Trends
• An uptrend is formed when the current trough price is higher than the preceding trough price.
• A return line downtrend is formed when the current trough price is lower than the preceding trough price.
• A double-bottom is formed when the current trough price is equal to the preceding trough price.
Range
The range is simply the difference between the current peak and current trough prices, generally expressed in terms of points or pips.
Support and Resistance
• Support refers to a price level where the demand for an asset is strong enough to prevent the price from falling further.
• Resistance refers to a price level where the supply of an asset is strong enough to prevent the price from rising further.
Support and resistance levels are important because they can help traders identify where the price of an asset might pause or reverse its direction, offering potential entry and exit points. For example, a trader might look to buy an asset when it approaches a support level , with the expectation that the price will bounce back up. Alternatively, a trader might look to sell an asset when it approaches a resistance level , with the expectation that the price will drop back down.
It's important to note that support and resistance levels are not always relevant, and the price of an asset can also break through these levels and continue moving in the same direction.
Breakouts and Breakdowns
• A breakout occurs when the price of an asset breaks above a resistance level.
• A breakdown occurs when the price of an asset breaks below a support level.
• A confirmed breakout occurs when the price of an asset breaks and closes above a resistance level.
• A confirmed breakdown occurs when the price of an asset breaks and closes below a support level.
It's important to note that breakouts and breakdowns of resistance and support levels are not always relevant, and the price of an asset can also reverse once it has broken through a level to carry on in the opposite direction.
Trendlines
Trendlines are straight lines that are drawn between two or more points on a price chart. These lines are used as dynamic support and resistance levels for making strategic decisions and predictions about future price movements. For example traders will look for price movements along, and reactions to, trendlines in the form of rejections or breakouts/downs.
Ascending Head and Shoulders Patterns
Ascending head and shoulders patterns are generally characterised by three peaks with the one in the middle being the highest of the three and the third peak being higher than the first. Similarly, the two troughs that connect the three peaks are also ascending, with the second trough, or right shoulder trough, being higher than the preceding trough, or left shoulder trough.
The current trough acts as neckline support and the trendline drawn from the preceding trough to current trough acts as dynamic neckline support.
Traders typically look for breakdowns of ascending head and shoulders necklines to identify potential trading opportunities, with targets and stop losses set as multiples of the pattern's range.
█ LIMITATIONS
All green and red candle calculations are based on differences between open and close prices, as such I have made no attempt to account for green candles that gap lower and close below the close price of the preceding candle, or red candles that gap higher and close above the close price of the preceding candle. This may cause some unexpected behaviour on some markets and timeframes. I can only recommend using 24-hour markets, if and where possible, as there are far fewer gaps and, generally, more data to work with.
