RSI Strategy w/ Trailing SL / TP Optimized for Crypto [Strategy]This strategy is designed to use the RSI and EMA filters. A 200 period EMA is used for short / long filters, and the 50 period EMA is used to determine the direction of the short term trend.
In addition, the script uses "rate of change" for the fast EMA (trend), volume , RSI (momentum), and price (volatility) and only takes trades when all are in optimal conditions.
I.E., the EMA is in an uptrend, the volume is increasing, price is in an uptrend, and the RSI is in an uptrend, so we will place a Long trade.
This strategy uses EMAs as a trailing stop loss and take profit. As this is a trend following strategy, the idea is to maximize profits when correct and minimize losses when
wrong.
It was designed specifically using crypto pairs, and was optimized for the 10 minute chart.
My goal was to get the best use out of the RSI indicator. I was originally an MACD fanboy, but have recently converted.
Want to help me improve this code or strategy? Have suggestions for improvement? Leave them in the comments below.
Thanks for using my script! I hope it works well for you and good luck in the markets.
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments and I'll do my best to respond.
This script does not repaint as it only relies on close data to make a decision to enter a trade.
How to use this strategy:
___________________________
Enable Long Entries? - Used to enable or disable the strategy from executing long entries.
Enable Short Entries? - Used to enable or disable the strategy from executing short entries.
How Many Bars To Look Back for Hi/Lo: - This is used for the Stop Loss and Take Profit targets. An integer of bars is used to look back and calculate the values.
RSI Length (Rec: 8) - The length of the RSI
Source - The RSI Source
Use Slow EMA? - If checked, a 200 period EMA will be used to filter entries long or short (only take shorts when the price is below, long when above). In addition, the script will close any trades that cross the 200 period EMA. By default this is disabled.
EMA Slow - the period of the Slow EMA (200 by default)
EMA Slow Src - what to use to calculate the Slow EMA (high by default)
EMA Fast - The Fast EMA (50 period) is used to calculate the direction of the short term trend. This also factored into the Rates of Change.
EMA Fast Src - what to use to calculate the Fast EMA
ATR Length - If used, the ATR length is used to calculate the Stop Loss and Take Profit targets.
SL Multiplier - The distance away from the initial value to multiply the Stop Loss
TP Multiplier - The distance away from the initial value to multiply the Take Profit.
Use EMA as SL / TP? - If true (default) a 3 period EMA is used to calculate Stop Loss and Take Profit targets. Else, an ATR is used to calculate these values.
Stop Loss / Take Profit Offset - Default: 3 - this is used to shift the EMA / ATR Stop Loss and Take Profit lines to the right X bars. This is to ensure that they are hit properly and not exceeded.
Short Len Vol - Use to calculate the volume of the short length, used in rate of change calculations
Long Len - Use to calculate the volume of the long length, used in rate of change calculations
RSI Long Entry Val - Minimum RSI crossover value to enter a trade Long. If the RSI is below this value, trade entries are not valid.
RSI Long Cutoff Threshold - Long entry RSI value cutoff to no longer enter trades. If the RSI is above this value, trades entries are not valid.
RSI Short Entry Val - Minimum RSI crossover value to enter a trade Short. If the RSI is above this value, trade entries are not valid.
RSI Short Cutoff Threshold - Short entry RSI value cutoff to no longer enter trades. If the RSI is below this value, trades entries are not valid.
ROC Fast EMA - Calculates the rate of change between the Fast Ema now and 'X' bars ago. For a long entry, a positive value is needed, and for a short entry, a negative value is needed.
ROC Price - Calculates the rate of change between the most recent price close and 'X' bars ago. For a long entry, a positive value is needed, and for a short entry, a negative value is needed.
ROC RSI - Calculates the rate of change between the RSI now and 'X' bars ago. For a long entry, a positive value is needed, and for a short entry, a negative value is needed.
Use Close for SL - Default = Off - If checked, when a candle hits the stop loss, the trade will close on the next candle. If unchecked, the trade will remain open until the candle closes at or beyond the stop loss lines.
Custom Message Boxes - Primarily used for bots, but can be used to also insert your own messages for your trading alerts.

First strategy
This System was created from the Book "How I Tripled My Money In The
Futures Market" by Ulf Jensen, Page 183. This is reverse type of strategies.
The strategy buys at market, if close price is higher than the previous close
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Slow Oscillator is lower than 50.
The strategy sells at market, if close price is lower than the previous close price
during 2 days and the meaning of 9-days Stochastic Fast Oscillator is higher than 50.
Second strategy
This is the new-age indicator which is version of RSI calculated upon
the Rate-of-change indicator.
The name "Relative Strength Index" is slightly misleading as the RSI
does not compare the relative strength of two securities, but rather
the internal strength of a single security. A more appropriate name
might be "Internal Strength Index." Relative strength charts that compare
two market indices, which are often referred to as Comparative Relative Strength.
And in its turn, the Rate-of-Change ("ROC") indicator displays the difference
between the current price and the price x-time periods ago. The difference can
be displayed in either points or as a percentage. The Momentum indicator displays
the same information, but expresses it as a ratio.

Great stability, Repaint bug fixes, and New features!

| Introduction: |
==================
This is a Long Term Strategy, using compounding profit method, it can generate high returns, but it also risk for losses, this can be overcome if you set Stop Loss to over 25% for bitcoin & 60% for Altcoins.
Best profit plan with this strategy is you trade on Future leverage while you hold on to your coin, so that when price goes up, your coin value goes up, and at the same time, you trade with your leverage to earn even more, easily doubling up your total profit.
Benefits:
Fully customizable and you can easily personalized it and FINE TUNE it according to the market or coin you trading on.
The strategy is based on REAL PRACTICAL trading skills, so it works in real-world.
I fixed the "repainting" issue so the backtest it shows you IS ACCURATE when you run for real-time.
We all know one indicator is not going to help you win your trades, so this strategy combines ALL three: EMA for long+short term trend, HA for short term trend, RSI for entry/exit
This strategy is designed for LONG trade (Buy low, Sell high), not for SHORT trade.
This is not day trading, it is more to mid-term trading, where there's only few trades per month
Mainly is coded to work with 3Commas bot auto trading, so you only need to key in your Bot ID & Email Token.
Bot trading NOTE:
- You need to replace the Alert Message with this: {{strategy.order.alert_message}}
- And you'll need the Bot's webhook Url set with the Alert too.
- One Alert will work for both Buy and Sell Order
- If you using other Bot service, you can enter Custom Command in Input Settings too, it works on any bot service.
Lastly,
regarding the setting advice, I would say you try playing with different settings and your objective is to achieve a backtest result that has:
1) Profitable is > 80%
2) Losing trades is nearly 0 or below 25% of your winning trades. Trick is using far stop loss %
3) Net Profit be almost same or more than "Buy & Hold Profit"
==================
| Latest Updates: |
==================
=| Tidy Up Codings |=
- Group input fields so it'll be easier to understand and find the settings
- Upgrade code for obsolete 'transp' options
=| Repaint Issues |=
- Previous v2.0's RSI has repaint issue, creating false result against real-time data. I've fixed this.
- Also done fine-tuning other parts of the codes to prevent possible repaint issues.
=| Bot System |=
- Improved Custom Bot system, so that you're able to set dynamic order size/quantity with my custom keyword: and
Base Order Example:
{ 'message_type': 'bot', 'bot_id': 1234567, 'email_token': 'abcdefgh-1234-1234-1234', 'base_order': , 'delay_seconds': 0, 'pair': 'USDT_BTC'}
=| EMA Downtrend Exit |=
- Added option for you to decide whether to close position when detected EMA Long term downtrend.
=| EMA 2 (short term) is removed |=
- After several test, I've decided to remove this because it doesn't contribute to improving the results.
=| Heikin Ashi System |=
- Improved the chart display, now you'll see the HA candle 'shadowed' behind, so you'll see both actual price candle and HA candle at same time.
- Added the system that detect the HA candle sizes to decide specifically when it's suitable for Entry and Exit.
>> For "Entry/Exit Range"
- This means after HA is valid for Entry or Exit, how many following bars are allowed to stay valid so it will match other requirements to be completely fulfilled for Entry or Exit.
>> For "Crossing Interval"
- This means after detected HA line crossover, how many HA intervals is allow to Entry or Exit
>> For "Reversed Exit"
- This function let's you decide whether to close position if after HA bull (green candle) changed into HA Bear (red candle)
=| RSI A Entry |=
- Added option to avoid Entry during NTZ (No trade Zone)
- Also added the option to avoid next same condition RSI A entry too soon
=| RSI B Entry |=
- This function is for Entry if RSI is going very low, mostly due to bigger price drops in short time, it's good for buying DIP, however we'll never be able to know when a DIP ends, so do more test on this settings before put into real use.
- Added "avoid" options to help avoid getting Entry at "false" DIP, more like a short & fast pullback which causes RSI to drop very low but actually the price is near ATH or Recent High.
- Added option for Entry with Trailing Price Lower Buy combine with a limit order that grabs low price, so whichever it fulfill first.
=| New: Avoid Entry |=
- Well, it's a pain if you bought at the top, so I've added two options that will avoid buying near ATH and Recent High.
=| Time-limit Removed |=
- Sorry that I've missed look on the script policy which I'm not allowed to put a time-limit for public scripts.
=| System Improvements |=
- HA condition detection is optimized and bug fixed
- RSI values now reads accurately on each bar despite using higher timeframe, especially when moving to next interval
=| New: Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) Orders |=
- Although DCA strategy is not appealing for Long term strategy, but I've added it for your extra options and flexibilities.
- The settings are quite straight-forward and standard, so I won't be explaining here.
=| New: Backtest Start & End Date |=
- This is very good function when you need more accurate result starting at specific date & time.
- Also if you set the date & time for your real trading starts, it'll much result the same as your actual trading records, which helps you to see clearer and make future decisions.
Any found bugs or flaws, please feel free to PM me, I can't get notifications from comments here below, so I'll not able to reply you the soonest possible, still not sure how to turn on notification for comments, anyone who knows can PM and teach me, lol... Thanks in advance!
Well, this is free version, hope it helps! Feedbacks are all welcome :)
(To Moderators: I've fully use the "f_security()" guideline, but instead of creating a separate function, I apply directly on all security() function. Please don't ban my script before fully check if I've truly fixed repaint. Thank you.)

EMA RSI ATR Hidden Div Strat - 1 MinHey there!
Hereby I present you the EMA RSI Lowest Low Hidden Divergence strategy, which I discovered on a youtube channel.
He has tested the strategy hundreds of times manually, herewith I try to automate the whole thing.
Since I use the strategy with a bot, it can only enter long positions for now. But in the future I will add the possibility to trade short positions.
The strategy was tested with BTC/ USDT in 1m chart (8 days). The values must be adjusted depending on the timeframe and coin.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How does the strategy work?
First of all, we need a bullish hidden divergence.
Once this is detected, the following parameters are checked:
The 50 EMA must cross the 250 EMA .
Then, the candle must close above the 50 EMA .
The K line of the RSI STOCH indicator need to crosses the D line.
If the next candle closes above the 50 EMA , a long position is opened.
The stop loss is determined with the "lowest low/highest high lookback".
The profit factor is multiplied by the value of the lowest low/highest high lookback.
The results of the strategy are without commissions and levers.
If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know in the comments.
In the future I will add other types of stop loss / take profits. (ATR; %; eg.)
I wish you good luck with the strategy!
EMA+RSI Pump & Drop Swing Sniper (SL+TP) - StrategyThis is the strategy version of the 'EMA-RSI-Pump-Drop-Swing-Sniper-With-Alerts':
Some additions with this strategy:
~Added Stop loss & Take profit control. In Settings > Inputs if the Stop Loss is at .051 that means it's 5.1% and the Take Profit at .096 is 9.6%. If you wish to remove the TP and SL just change the value to 1.00 and it would be the same as it being 100% TP and SL which is likely to never be hit.
~Added Backtesting by changing the month/date/year in Settings > Inputs
~Added a 2nd EMA line to assist with the long entry signals. I only use this for long entry & exits, though you could use the long exits as Short entries too. I just personally don't do short trading on Bitcoin.
This is using an EMA and RSI with slightly modified settings to give good entry and exit points while looking at Bitcoin. I use this on a 1-hour and 4-hour chart and with other indicators to find good positions to enter a trade or exit if things are turning red.
It's important to know this strategy was made as a request by another user that was using the indicator version. I don't use this as a trading strategy by itself, I use the visuals it gives as a confirmation with other indicators to find the best possible entry and exit positions.
If you click on the EMA line it will color the bars of the chart based on if they are above or below the EMA - This is just visually helpful for me to see the active trend.
Make sure you hover over or click on the EMA line to see the colors of the candles change - it's not visible by default or without doing this.
All in One Strategy no RSI Label - For higher dollar cryptoThis is the All in One Strategy without the RSI suggestion label that will work well for any of the crypto currencies trading above $500 so the overlay shows up better. I am using ETH as an example on this.
Based on some comments on my previously published script that has been replaced I have added Alert Conditions to this version that can be used in other bots. You can also copy and paste these alert conditions into the other All in One script I published for the lower priced cryptocurrencies.
To use the alert conditions I have in here, you will need to convert this strategy into a study to do so. Delete the entry and exit logic at the end (lines 299 through 351), delete line 18 and paste the following in place of line 18:
study(shorttitle='Ain1 No Label',title='All in One Strategy no RSI Label', overlay=true, scale=scale.left)
Here are the settings to mimic what you see here in the back test strategy I am publishing. Remember that previous results do not guarantee future results.

Technicals Rating Strategy v420Ichimoku, HMA, RSI, Stoch, CCI, MACD, Technicals Rating Strategy is a trading Bot that looks at these chosen indicators and assigns a value to each, then calculates the result of adding each indicators result value to a overall rating, which is then compared to a user set level. Here seen on Bitcoin, it has the broker fee included in the testing result. If you choose to use it on Forex etc, perhaps remove the broker fee which is unrealistic for FX trading.
It has a Win/Loss ratio of only 40% wins, but it catches the big moves and thats the main thing, so if ELON MUSK had of used this strategy instead of BUY and HOLD, he could of made 700% instead of 7% (as is, may, 2021)
Mainly intended for use as Automated TRADE BOT.
(imagine if Elon Musk did use this bot with his 1.3 billion $ worth of BTC, the drawdown would be like, half a billion or something haha (p.s.- use smaller lotsize % to get smaller drawdown, but then smaller profit....) )
For use with any pair and timeframe. In fact there is a timeframe setting to set the strategy to look at alternative timeframe from chart, but as default will just be set to charts timeframe.
MACD Signal with RSI Indicating StrategyThis strategy looks for MACD signal crossover and RSI confirmation of oversold/overbought condition.
Tune to your crypto/stock for best results using the strategy and sent an alert. Currently set up to use 25% of equity at each buy signal and will sell 1/3 of position at each sell signal. Initial investment is $1000, but adjust as necessary.
Currently tuned to DOGEUSD on 30min chart.

Dankland Playground Moneymaker - V2“version 2” of my playground bot script. Its essentially a powerhouse suite of strategies. Although it is similar to the previous script, it nets different results as sections have been changed. Such as the somewhat reluctant removal of the Chande Momentum... The RSIs have also been updated, this was one of the main changes. RSIS now include a Moving Average cross of RSI to generate signals above and below the given thresholds instead of simply on crossing a threshold. This should give greater functionality overall. Most functions including Moving Averages have been updated to include a wider range of kinds of moving averages. This includes not just the moving average cross, but MACD and RSIs as well. I tried to perform the same upgrade on the %B, Stochastics and SMI, but hit the unpacked code limit of 60,000 lines... So, more “versions” will have to come for future “upgrades”, with the recognition that there will be cases where the old, “downgraded” versions may perform better and that some people (like myself) may continue to use them on some markets until I/we devise superior settings on the new ones for said markets. For instance, instead of replacing my 1 hr BTCUSD bot (where I used the now deleted Chande to pretty pleasing affect...) I made a new one for LINKUSD 10 min so I can have both running for now and work on replacing the BTCUSD later.
How it works basically is this... you have 16 oscillators which can all be used as independently as you wish. They can be split up into different groups or ran all together.
When in separate groups they should not be able to sell eachothers positions without triggering a full stop loss by turning the Independence/Stop All switches on. Every single oscillator has its own entry and exit position sizing which can be stated as either a percent of balance or a flat amount of contracts (or both combined). Each oscillator has a minimum amount of profit you can tell it to sell it, which is calculated from the average cost of your current position, which does include all groups. This works out to help you average out better entry and exit prices, essentially a method of DCAing.
You can set the minimum sale amount, which is to keep it from placing orders below your exchanges minimum dollar trade cost.
All this functionality combined also ensures more accurate back tests by ensuring that the script simply cannot spend money it doesn't see as in the balance, whereas other scripts will use a percentage of equity, and once 100% of your equity is in BTC for instance, it will keep buying more BTC for free and thus spoof up backtest numbers. If you look through the strategies here, many people claim to have amazing scripts and then you look into it and this is happening and skewing their numbers. These people are either very ignorant or what they made or scam artists and trolls in my opinion.
This version also includes On Bar Close switches for each oscillator. When switched on, signals are only allowed to generate on Bar Close. This helps to prevent retriggering from live signals, which when you are running this many oscillators, will become a problem! However, in most cases, you do not need to generate signals intrabar, as backtests will show, ignoring intrabar buys and sells (intrabar stop losses can still be very important though!) won't exactly keep you from high profitability strategies, but rather, allowing elements of chaos from live indicators moving up and down intrabar will, in fact, drift your actual results further and further from the backtest. You want an accurate backtest though. So choose wisely when you turn these off and you will do better.
The included oscillators are as follows:
NO MORE Chande Momentum cross – REMOVED – I was hitting PINE code limits here so I had to make choices and this one simply had to go. Begone!
Moving Average Cross
MACD cross
%B Bollinger cross
Stochastic cross + region filter
Stochastic RSI cross + region filter
SMII cross and region filter
Three RMIs
Know-Sure-Thing line-cross
Coppock Curve line-cross
TRIX line-cross
RSI of MA w/ MA cross
RSI of MA of KST w/ MA cross
RSI of MA of Coppock Curve w/ MA cross
RSI of MA of Trix w/ MA cross
So the idea is that this is essentially multiple strategies combined into one backtestable house. Balance is calculated for all position sizes in order to try to prevent false entries that plague so many scripts (IE, you set pyramiding to 2, each buy $1000, initial balance $1000, and yet it buys two orders off the bat for $2000 total and nets 400% profit because the second was considered free, happens on 90+% of scripts on Tradingview if you aren't very very careful!)
You tune each indicator and position size them so that they work together as well as you can and in doing so you are able to create a single backtest that is capable of running a bot, essentially, between multiple strategies - you can run a slower Moving Average cross, a faster SMI cross or MACD , or Bollinger that grabs big moves only, all the while having MACD trade small bonuses along the way. This way you can weight the Risk to Reward of each against eachother.
I will not try to claim this is something you can open and with no work have the best bot on the planet. This scripts intention is to take a lot of relatively common trading strategies and combine them under on roof with some risk management and the ability to weigh each against eachother.
If you are looking for a super advanced singular algorithm that tries to capture every peak and valley exactly on the dot, this is not for you. If you are looking for a tool with a high level of customizability, with a publisher who intends to update it to the best of his ability in accordance to seeking to make the best product that I personally can make for both myself and the community (because I will be using this myself of course!) that was specifically designed with the intention of performing well in spot markets by averaging low entry costs and high exit costs, this is for you! That is the exact intention here. It can certainly work with margin, but you will have to take extra care in setting your stop losses. I intend to make a version capable of going short which will be included as part of the package. It may take some work to keep all of the risk management working as well for shorts though. There will be more scripts added to the “package” as I hit the limit on this one a few times and have had to keep some ideas out already.
The current backtest shown is hand-optimized by myself for Link /USD 10min market (Binance US – shouldn't need much work to fit to other exchange markets) with multiple stop losses.
yin+yang StrategyThis strategy is the combination of 16 different indicators that collectively give you a signal for a long and short position.
It will mostly give you 8-9 successful trade out of 10.
have fun.
cRSI + Waves Strategy with VWMA overlay + sessions and order qtyThis is a fork of the cRSI + Waves Strategy with VWMA overlay strategy by Dr_Roboto , which adds two additional features, namely:
the ability to limit trade signals to certain defined periods of time ("Sessions") during the trading day and, optionally, to close any open position at the end of either or both "Sessions"
the ability to control the maximum order size suggested by the strategy on the "Inputs" tab of the strategy's "Settings" window
If you are trading on a daily chart (or longer) you must disable the Limit Signals to Trading Sessions? option in order for the strategy to produce signals.
All other features are identical to the original strategy (revision 2.0).
Stoch-RSI 4h/1h/15min!!!! Note: Run this on the 15min timeframe (Important) !!!!
Note the default settings on this indicator are best for BTC/USDT. For other pairs it might take some fiddling with variables to get a useful result (if a useful result is obtainable with the selected pair)
Generally, select between the options (RSI/Stoch) and (15min/1hour) and (1hour/4hours) - to find a strategy backtest result that is worth considering.
Only long positions are considered here (I tried shorts but could not get a credible backtest result with this approach).
This is an indicator which looks at RSI and StochRSI on the 15min, 1hour and 4hour timeframe.
The user can select a 15min/1hour option (RSI/Stoch) and then also a 1hour/4hour option (RSI/Stoch).
So there is one selection from a lower (15min/1hour) timeframe and another selection from a longer (1hour/4hour) timeframe.
The general idea is to, consider buying when, the lower timeframe (RSI/Stoch) is going upwards and also the longer timeframe (RSI/Stoch) is going upwards.
A good backtest result would suggest that the confluence in RSI/Stoch over the shorter and longer timeframes can estimate a good time to buy.
(Careful with a 1hour Stoch for the shorter timeframe variable as its possible to also select a 1hour Stoch for the longer timeframe variable.)
There are user set variables that can be set to avoid a buy signal, if either the lower or high timeframe variables are greater than.
For example, buying when a rsi/stoch is >65% might not be advisable as the rsi/stoch is most probably due for a downswing when above this value.
The strategy closes a position when either the shorter or longer timeframe variables no longer are going up.
There is also a take profit % which can be set to exit trades at a given %.
The default values on this indicator tool are for bitcoin, which shows a reasonable backtest result. - worth sharing on tradingview.
Please do get in touch for any additional information/suggestions.
Sincerely,
MoonFlag
3 EMA Stochastik RSI ATR SL TP only LONGHey there!
Here i will show you the 3 EMA RSI Stochastic Crossover strategy with an ATR SL and TP.
The strategy works as follows:
For long positions, the EMA's must be in the following order:
The 8 E M A must be above the 14 E M A and the 14 E M A must be above the 50 E M A.
The buy signal is given to us by the Stochastic RSI indicators.
The K line must cross the D line above. The following candle must then close above all E M A's.
The stop loss is determined by three times the value of the ATR.
The take profit is determined by two times the value of the ATR.
In this strategy only long positions are traded.
All in One StrategyTrue improvement over my previous script. This script adds in all of the complementary indicators, makes it truly easy to adjust the inputs, and has produced a real world net gain using the TradingView bots paired with any broker's API that is supported.
It has a selection for which strategy you'd like to use and due to limitations in Pine I cannot program in logic to make sure you only pick one, so you need to make sure you are only picking one.
To tweak the Connors option - it only depends on the RSI length variable, everything else is hard coded and tweaked for Crypto.
To tweak the MACD - play around with the min and max values of the RSI for lookback and the amount of candles to lookback. Then tweak the fast and slow MA lengths. I have found that a fast length of 3 or 4 and a slow length between 6 and 10 will yield the highest gains.
Also, when I was a young Noob I thought using a chart timeframe of 5 minutes was the best...no...no it wasn't. I lost my ass. Don't lose yours. I highly suggest sticking with a 30 minute timeframe, you will minimize losses caused by false triggers, have less trades and higher profits. More is not always better, trades that may sell one day and then buy six days later are normal. Leave it do its magic and you'll be very happy in the end.
[KL] Bollinger bands + RSI StrategyThis strategy is based on two of my previous scripts, one called “RSI14 + 10”; the other one called “Bollinger Bands Consolidation”. At its core, it combines the main setups from each of those two scripts but excludes the auxiliary features that were considered as experimental. This strategy will identify periods of squeeze, and then enter long during consolidation with a trailing stop loss set.
Primary indicator will be the Bollinger Bands. By comparing the width of the BBs with the ATR of the same lookback period (i.e. 2 standard deviations of the 20 recent closing prices vs ATR(20) x2), we begin to look for confirmation for entry whenever the standard deviation of prices is less than the ATR. This can be seen visually in the plots (i.e. default gray lines representing ATRx2 relative to BB center line).
Confirmation for entry will be the RSIs (slow-14, and fast-10). If both are upward sloping, then we assume prices are in an uptrend and may eventually break above upper band. RSIs are typically in mid-range when prices are consolidating, therefore no need to measure it.
Exits will happen in two cases, (1) when trailing stop loss hits, or (2) when RSIs signal that the instrument is overbought. No. 1 is self-explanatory. No. 2 happens, when RSI14 reaches above 70 (can be changed), followed by RSI10 catching up and surpassing RSI14.
MACD, RSI, & RVOL Strategy
This strategy combines the use of MACD (12, 26, 9), RSI (14, 30, 70), and RVOL (14) to create Long Buy and Sell signals. This works well with many different time intervals but was developed with 15-minute intervals in mind.
Using MACD as a reference, the strategy identifies when the MACD line crosses over (a factor in a buy signal) and under (a factor in a Sell signal) the Signal line. This shows a shift in positive (cross over) and negative (cross under) of a security.
Using the Relative Strength Index ( RSI ) as an indicator, the strategy notices when the velocity and magnitude of the directional price movements cross over the Oversold signal (30) and crosses under the Overbought signal (70) as a factor in creating a Buy and Sell signal.
Using Relative Volume (RVOL) as an indicator, the strategy calculates when the current volume has crossed over the 2x average volume indicator over a given period and is then used as a factor in creating a Buy signal. RVOL is also used when the change in volume crosses under a set RVOL number (in this strategy, it is set to a RVOL of 5).
RVOL = Current Volume / Average Volume over a certain period
This strategy indicates a Buy signal when 2/3 conditions are met:
- RSI Cross Over the Over Sold signal (default 30)
- MACD Cross Over of Signal ( MACD > Signal)
- RVOL Cross Over of 2 (RVOL > 2)
This strategy indicates a Sell signal when 2/3 conditions are met:
- RSI Cross Under the Over Bought signal (default 70)
- MACD Cross Under of Signal ( MACD < Signal)
- RVOL Cross Under 5 (RVOL < 5)
Enjoy and leave feedback!
Linear RSIThis is an attempt to create a strategy based on the previous post. The strategy, as before, is based on the RSI, which is calculated using linear regression, but with the addition of EMA. The crossing of EMA and RSI is a buy and sell signal. There are also two functions to buy (because I haven't decided which is really better), so please use checkbox to order which one you would like to use.
Bot go_up strategyHello. This strategy is based on go_up alerts.
Our task is to find the local minimum. The trade is entered on the basis of RSI and SMA according to a specific formula, which is embedded in the code. When the RSI crosses the SMA upside down, a long position is entered. You can change the length of the RSI . The longer the length, the less frequent, but more accurate the entrance, and vice versa. You can use a different time frame.
The settings have:
1) RSI length, the lower the length, the more often the entry.
2) Testing results for any period of time
3) Take profit for any percentage
4) Stop order for any percentage
5) If there is a check mark ✅, then purchases will always be made, and if not, then purchases will be made, BUT, if the next payback is lower than the previous one, it does not matter by what percentage.
6) If there is a check mark ✅, then each trace of the purchase will be made provided that it is lower by the percentage specified, even if the conditions of the purchase are triggered.
7) The filled area is made for visual display of consolidation zones
Default settings:
RSI length 15, step 1.5, take profit 15, stop order 30.
Also in the settings there is a pyramid of the order, keep this in mind. Enter a deal for a small part of the deposit, and not for all the money at once! You can remove pyramiding and see the results with one entry.
For a more visual understanding, overlay the go_up script.
You can choose a strategy for yourself based on history! If you need examples of strategies, then write to me, my contacts are in the column: instructions from the author.
Successful trades, dear friends, I am glad that you trust me!
Reversal with Bollinger Bands + RSI + ADX + ATR (Upgraded)Hi,
Welcome to my 4th script.
Someone asked me some questions about the Bollinger Band strategy I previously published. When I went back to my published script I couldn't help myself but simply try and make it better. Which I did.
Since I've published that script, I've gained much more knowledge about how Pinescript functions. As well as gaining more and more knowledge about how the markets are structered etc.
In this reversal script we use 4 indicators to determine good entry signals, we determine whether the market is ranging or trending and we still only want to take trades in the direction of the "trend".
Bollinger Bands are used for our entry signal. When price hits either side of the band, we wait for a reverse candlestick before we enter a position.
RSI is used to determine if we're in a trending market or in a ranging market. You can adjust the values in the inputs. You can determine the minimum RSI value and the maximum RSI value.
ADX is used the same way as RSI, you can adjust the value in the inputs. You can determine the minimum ADX value.
Last but not least we use two EMA's, a 200 EMA and 100 EMA. Both are adjustable through the inputs. I used two EMA's because I noticed when using this strategy that we'd enter a new position often after having a bad trade. Using two EMA's might clean up some signals, in my case with EUR/USD on a 15m timeframe, it didn't clean up enough signals.
All the default values are pretty decent but might require some finetuning on a certain instrument. Don't overfit the strategy though, that'll only give you bad signals in the future.
Then we are off to our exit signals.
Initially I wanted to incorporate my previous Bollinger Band exit signals as well, but it was too much of a hassle to make the script work as intended so I left it out. If you want to use those exit signals, just find my other script.
When we're in a position and price crosses the opposite band, we wait for a reverse candlestick before we exit the position.
Additionally we want our losses to be as small as possible, so we use RSI to signal us when the market is, or starts to, trend against us. This is where you use the minimum and maximum exit values. So when RSI crosses over or under that value, it'll exit the position.
Furthermore, we use the ATR indicator to set our stop loss, which is pretty basic stuff. You can adjust the ATR multiplier in the inputs. Disabling "Use Trailing Stop?" is really inadvisable unless you know this script inside out as your only exit signals will be opposite Bollinger Band Cross and RSI overbought / oversold areas.

This strategy is intended for use as a way of backtesting various parameters available on 3commas.
The primary inputs for the strategy are:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// USER INPUTS
Short MA Window - The length of the Short moving average
Long MA Window - The length of the Long moving average
Upper Band Offset - The offset to use for the upper bollinger offset
Lower Band Offset - The offset to use for the lower bollinger offset
Long Stop Loss % - The stop loss percentage to test
Long Take Profit % - The Take profit percentage to test
Initial SO Deviation % - The price deviation percentage required to place to first safety order
Safety Order Vol Step % - The volume scale to test
3Commas Bot ID - (self-explanatory)
Bot Email Token - Found in the deal start message for your bot (see link in the previous section for details)
3Commas Bot Trading Pair - The pair to include for composite bot start deals (should match the format of 3commas, not TradingView IE. USDT_BTC not BTCUSDT )
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start Date, Month, Year and End Date, Month, and Year all apply to the backtesting window. By default, it will use as much data as it can give the current period select (there is less historical data available for periods below 1H) back as far as 2016 (there appears to be no historical data on Trading view much before this). If you would like to test a different period of time, just change these values accordingly.

Composite bot using a Bollinger band type trading strategy. While its primary intention is to provide users a way of backtesting bot parameters, it can also be used to trigger a deal start by either using the {{strategy.order.alert_message}} field in your alert and providing the bot details in the configuration screen for the strategy or by including the usual deal start message provided by 3commas.
